Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

Let your nightmares escape your dreams....

The breeze set back her features, the wind blowing back the fur in her face. She altered her position in the field, sitting so the wind was out of her face and the scents of the afternoon came down to greet her in a polite way. She had only been within Blossom Forest within maybe four or five months, but what she saw of it she liked. Everything that could intrigue her was here. Life had not told her what it wanted her to do, so it was best that she find new ways to meet new people and discover things hidden beneath the surface. Every day she woke up to feel the light shine down on her pelt and the breeze blow her face back. Lifting her head into the wind, she scented a wolf on the breeze.

Summer sat down in front of her. She smiled, the events of fall escaping out of her mouth and into a question she didn’t know if she really wanted to ask. Summer answered right away. ““Nice to meet you Cora. Yes the seasons are changing quickly, winter will even soon be upon us!” Cora smiled at his reply, glad that she wasn’t alone in feeling that the seasons were starting to change. Out into the sky, clouds were starting to gather, but for the most part, the day stayed bright and the sun shone down through the wind. The ess waited for the brute’s reply, hoping that the silence didn’t mean that times were rough. Sadly, she was right. “I have had better days. I have been alone for a long time now and glad I ran into a friendly vixen like yourself.” She almost blushed if it hadn’t been for the smirk that crossed her face to empathize what he was feeling. “I am sorry to hear that. Though, it can’t be every day that you say the prey doesn’t run free.” The vixen smiled though, just to say that she knew what horrible, no not horrible, bad times felt like.

“So do you belong to a pack around here? I smell no pack scent on you.” The vixen smiled brighter this time, not even trying not to be friendly. “Nope; I have pretty much been a loner for my whole life. Don’t worry, though; I have no idea what I am missing. However, I cannot say the same to you. There is a faint scent of other wolves on you. I am guessing you belong to a pack? How has that been doing?” It would be horrible if she had just been setting him up to remember what he didn’t want to. Unaware to the two of them, a storm was brewing not far from where they sat. They were sheltered under the only tree in a clearing far from forests. Perhaps that wasn’t the best thing that could happen on a bright windy day...
