Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

goes the clock, we laughed at fate and mourned her, tick tock goes the clock even for the monster

If she was really in a snappy mood then he would not be standing beside her with his throat intact. It was difficult for her to be cordial with another, especially when past meetings with loner wolves resulted in nasty fights. It was hard to fight off the buzzing thoughts in the back of her mind to stop walking beside the foxlike male and just chase him away. Social interactions just weren’t her strongest suit. But she was trying, it was just…hard. As they walked side by side she would give a low warning growl when he got too close and she would move quickly keeping herself in front, dropping her head down in a regrettable manner. Her ebony tail would lower and slowly curl around her left leg in a shameful manner for a few seconds, before it was brought back up at half-staff. She would force her walking pace to slow down allowing him to catch up, those cold eyes narrowing briefly at him as she brought her head back up to meet his watchful gaze for a moment or two. Surely her mannerisms were odd, especially now when she was trying to convey her apologizes with subtle body cues. If he couldn’t see that she was trying then there was no point in staying around.

On the outside she was nothing more than a cold brash wolf that didn’t want to be around others. Her hardships made her tough. Living alone, since she was a pup, gave her the necessary skills to not trust anyone or anything that was near her. However, with that tough exterior there was one piece of her that could make her into the soft spoken fem he would much rather prefer to spend his time with, but sadly that was a piece of her that could not be found, even by her. Her ears would twitch as he spoke, noticing that smirk on his face as her own bloodstained lips to match his. Come on. She was female, he was male and it was a cold night. They were alone. She may not have been raised with wolves, but she knew how the thought, especially the males. She knew he wasn’t going to try anything and hopefully he would see that she knew she was trying to be…playful. It was something she wasn’t accustomed to doing so hopefully her attempt at being humorous wasn’t a complete failure. Her tone was still cold, but there was a hint of playfulness there.

“You sure you didn’t have any other wicked agenda?”

Since they were standing close together she would move her shoulder against his shoving him gently, although it wasn’t gentle at all. Her ears went against her skull as she saw his body fall to the ground, clearly what she thought to be ‘gentle’ was wrong…when she showed him it was rough. She would take a step back, taken aback at her futile attempts to be playful. With a snarl she moved past him, not bothering to help him up. Bringing her head up, she stormed off her ebony tail swaying side to side in an annoyed fashion. She shouldn’t had bothered at all being friendly, there was no point to it. At least he didn’t fall off the damn mountain.

Her half torn ear twitched when she heard him approaching her, surely to get after her for nearly killing him. She did deserve to be yelled at, but he really shouldn’t try getting after her…they were so close to the edge and she was already in a dark mood. Turning her dial around, she noticed his shoulders moving in a shrugged manner and she gave a heavy sigh out of frustration, but not by him…by herself. So, with a gruff tone she tried to explain herself.

“Friendly…everyone is…friendly.”

Turning her scarred face away from him, her indigo eyes looked back down at the peaceful scene of the valley below them. Her shoulders moved forward as the ebony fur tipped with gray began to bristle up in a guarded manner. She didn’t like this feeling. Not knowing how to interact with others. It irritated her greatly and terrified her all the same. With a low tone her head lowered, not out of embarrassment, but in admission.

“I’m not…familiar….with it.
