Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

The ess turned her head, the scent of the brute raking the back of her throat like a silver claw. It was very unlikely that the wolf could have gone behind her without her knowing; his scent was already moving in around the clearing at a very fast rate. The ess flickered her auds, wondering where the brute stood a very short distance away. By the shuffle of his paws, she could tell it was close. After inviting him to come sit with her, she turned her head back to the water one of her paws was under, lifting it back under her bodice. The sun was washing in around her pelt wonderfully, the coldness that earlier inhabited the day now gone. She felt herself smile when she heard the titan walk towards and sit next to her. Company was not hers for a very long time. She almost felt his tension in the air start to ease, which made her relax as well. Fall was beginning to end and she didn’t know what the winter would bring; probably hidden traps and holes for her to fall in, not that the roots of trees and the brambles of bushes didn’t already cause her enough trouble.

“I’m not shy. I just don’t like talking.” His speech surprised her. She very well understood not wanting to talk and simply hiding in the back of the populace. A wallflower. However, it was not easy for her to hide since her white pelt stood out against the shadowed world they lived in. Before she lost her sight, Mink lived a very happy life filled with green, blue, pink, and color. She remembered each of them wonderfully, almost seeing the colors in her blank vision. However, Fate wasn’t that gracious, and the black she very well got used to seemed to grow darker at the mere thought of color. She dipped her paw back into the water, feeling for the slight movement of a fish she could offer to the brute. Soon enough, she felt the wet scales of a fish under her claws, and smacked the water as it flew into the air. She heard it fall beside her, slamming her other paw down where she knew it would be, blood and wet swimming around her paws. The fish only wriggled for a second before it died in the clutches of the ess’ paws. She pushed it over towards the brute.

“I thought you would like a fish.” The small vixen probably only still lived because of the small game she hunted. Fish were easier to catch, squirrels and the occasional rabbit harder. However, she was getting used to hunting by herself. She dangled her paw into the small pond before repeating the action again and getting a fish for herself. Maybe she would stay around here for awhile until she found another place to live. “I’m Mink. How are you?”
