The Cavern of Secrets holds much more than you can imagine. Once a forbidden place, the ban on entrance has been released...yet, is it a good idea to enter?

Once a great battle had been fought in this cavern, against a dark beast that had once - and still might - dwell here. No one knows where he disappeared to, but there are rumours...

Let your nightmares escape your dreams....

A crack of lightning splintered the sky, a huge crest of light quaking through the midnight blanket above and sending a powerful surge of panic up Cora’s spine. She jumped straight into Summer, an apology already shouting from her kissers. “It’s alright. Are you okay?” The vixen nodded, regaining her balance and standing upright as the rain started to fall. “Yes. It just startled me. Alot.” Cora stood on her toes, looking around. Soon, both her and Summer were standing, sprinting towards to trees on the horizon. It was such a far run, but the power in both of their strides seemed fast enough. The rain bolted down, soaking the pair as they ran through the field of flowers. Summer was pressed up against the vixen, which Cora was thankful for as the panic in her bones and muscles was already starting to leak through. Her green gaze was blurred, only focused on the trees that lay ahead. Surely, even though there was indeed lightning, that would be the best place to go in this storm? The vixen turned her head as the sky was blackened in a horror that was reality. Or was it truly? Rain couldn’t hurt anyone, right?

But, the rain was starting to subside, the wind dying down in less than half of a second. Cora slowed her pace, waiting to see if Summer did the same. She stood tall and erect, looking over a huge distance away at the tornado touching the ground. Now, not only did the fear inside Cora burn its way to her heart and mind, but the realization that today she could die did not ease anything in her brain. Knowing Summer would have to choice but to run with her, she sprinted faster than she ever had before. She flew over the plain with great speed, not turning around to see the tornado spinning after them. Summer’s words were barely a whisper to the howl of the wind, an echoing run soaking into her auds. Soon, the titan was right at her side, the two wolves both neck and neck as they raced for cover.

“We could head to Cavern of Secrets, the caves there should be deep enough to offer us enough protection from the tornado. Are you okay with going there or do you have a better idea?” The vixen nodded, not really waiting for her brain to make a correct answer. “A nice sheltered cavern sounds greater than anything to me. Please, just RUN.” And with that, the girl picked up her speed to the most full-out run she could ever take in her life. Together, they altered their course, heading towards the trees that were not as thick, sending sparks of flower petals floating down to the ground as they ran. Soon enough, the trees were upon them, but safety was not yet achieved. Of course, the two of them had to slow their paces and they did not run as close as when they were in the field. Flickers of trees separated them, the two wolves headed in the same direction. There was not a moment in time where Cora did not see Summer, and after a minute of running a couple feet away from him, she took her place closer to his side, feeling safer than she did by herself. The mouth of the cave was very close.

The darkness of the cavern was not more than ten feet away, and within that half of a second, the two lupines jumped into darkness, the shadows swallowing them up into a big hug as to comfort them as they were safe. Cora skidded to a halt on the wet ground, puddles jumping up into the air and splashing her creamy pelt in the darkness. They were still near the mouth of the cave, light slightly illuminating the outlines of the two wolves. Cora knew Summer was right next to her, the sound of his breath heavy as was hers. Her head faced the ground as she inhaled the gentle, dank air inside the cave. “Summer, are you alright?”
