"Um...Dylan?" Lunarian's voice was a little timid as he edged his way into his faerie's thoughts, "you didn't actually tell him about going to the Pantheon." The bow scowled at his familiar in an attempt to silence him before looking back at his brother with a slightly softer expression. Lunarian however, was not going to be silenced. "Its the same thing!" he urged, "you both want to do different things for the same reason!" Dylan sighed. The tiger was right, of course. Danny wasn't the only one who had been keeping secrets; he wasn't even the only one with a secret book. People always seemed to focus on the differences between him and his twin, Dylan had noticed, he was bold and Danny was shy, Danny was clever and Dylan could never sit still for longer than five minutes. He wondered sometimes if it was a reaction to them being twins, even though they weren't identical there were still assumptions there. It wasn't even although they were the only twins in the family either...That made his stomach squirm with discomfort. He didn't want to be cross with Danny, and he certainly didn't want to fight with him. His thoughts had suddenly strayed away from both books and latched themselves firmly onto his sister...and his mysterious missing brother. He had overheard Renn crying to Flynn once, about how Henry didn't even know about what had happened to their Dad. No. That wasn't going to happen to him and Danny. He wouldn't let it. Lunarian breathed a sigh of relief.

Sighing again, Dylan looked Danny in the eye again. He was still annoyed...it had been building in him steadily ever since they had lost Castiel, but this was not the thing he was annoyed about. If Danny wanted to learn how to heal people then that was a good thing, surely? Lunarian was right, a very similar motivation had driven him to the Pantheon to talk to Mace, and he had kept quiet about it for the same reasons as his brother. He coughed awkwardly and shuffled his feet, "I um..." Dylan began, "well, I should probably tell you something too. I've been talking to someone about learning how to fight. I thought maybe that way I could help to protect people when I'm older. I mean, I've never been as clever as you, and I think we both know I'd never be able to make it through a book that size, but I am good at running, and I was good at boxing when Da- when I tried it." There it was; the unspoken problem, and it was only an issue because it remained exactly that. he had tried to talk to Danny about it when it had happened, but Danny hadn't wanted to know. Dylan had been put off raising the subject anymore, if they were going to discuss it, then it was going to have to come from Danny.

"I guess I'm sorry too," the boy managed at last tucking a strand of fly away hair back behind his ear. He winced as pain shot through the middle finger of his right hand, sucking in air between his teeth in a hiss. Sheepishly he looked at his brother and held out his hands again, nodding at the finger in question as he spoke, "its not broken is it?" he asked a little anxiously, "I..." Dylan paused, taking a deep breath, in anticipation of Danny inevitable reaction "I sort of fell off the roof..."
