Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

'What the hell is a blob seal'? Ieron found himself thinking as he listened to Rogue explain the prey that called Glorall home. It was interesting to hear about the different animals that called Moladion home. Wolves were the kings of this place, but it seemed that there were hundreds of different creatures who lived here too. Most of them were alien to the desert wolf. It would be interesting to hunt something he had never seen before. Ieron licked his chops in anticipation.

Rogue continued to answer her companion’s questions but paused when the pack alpha finally made an appearance. She bowed her head and the stranger found himself thinking that it must take quite a lot to make this girl bow to anyone. What kind of wolf was this alpha? Ieron's curiosity had been piqued. He noticed the way the larger male stood with his tail held high and proud and how he looked down at Ieron. Most alphas saw themselves as better than others, which was an interesting trait of a wolf. It didn't help that Ieron's rebellious nature made him want to lash out against the alpha.

But a wise man knows when to swallow his pride when faced with terrible odds. Ieron was no fool. He could see he was being tested. Slowly, the small male lowered his gaze so he was staring at Tesseract's chest instead. In the traditional desert wolf fashion. "Greetings, my lord. I am called Ieron, son of Rikun of Calien. The lady Rogue has told me much of your great pack and was kind enough to show me the way here. I do believe that she is a valiant fighter and I agree with you full heartedly. I am truly lucky to be on her good side," he said in a deep voice. Butter them up, make them feel important. Ieron knew his way around alphas and in a way he was giving his own test. What sort of leader was the king of the sea?

"I am new to this land and do not know much which is why I have come here. I am seeking a new home, a fresh start of sorts. If you would have me, Lord." Let the white male make whatever judgments he wanted. It wouldn't faze the desert wolf in the slightest. He didn't have anything to prove. He only had to show how great he was. They would all see that the line of Calien wolves was a noble breed.
