The sun shone brightly on the form of Tesseract as he approached. He looked as if he was recovering well from the fight, and although Sin was maybe a bit disappointed that he wasn’t going to be spending time alone with Cersei today, he was relieved that his leader was healing quickly. He dipped his head respectfully to his mentor before Sinclair’s eyes turned to Cersei. He returned her bright grin when Tesseract was settling down on the sand near them. He jumped to his paws and play bowed with her, his tail matching her tail’s furious wagging. His anxieties faded at the sight of her enthusiasm. He could hardly imagine what he had been so worried about! She seemed as lively as ever and Sinclair was relieved she didn’t appear to have hard feelings about him neglecting to visit her after the battle Tesseract had. He greeted her with a kind yip before his attention when to Tesseract.
At Tesseract’s words, Sinclair turned his head to him to listen attentively. Sinclair had barely nodded to him when his attention was diverted to Cersei’s devious grinning challenge. Sin bared his teeth in a playful smile-snarl at her words, his nose wrinkling slightly. As she sprung away on quick paws, Sinclair stood up from playfully bowing before her. His eyes were bright with relative surprise as she sprang away. Oh right. Cersei was an agile wolf! Sinclair had always known, but in a spar, it seemed that much more important. Sin followed Cersei’s lope around him, neatly pivoting in a graceful circle to keep his sides and back safe from her. His violet and red eyes narrowed slightly as he focused on her.
How did he attack a wolf that was circling? It seemed a waste of energy to chase after her since at this distance, Cersei could have all the time she needed to dodge and retaliate on him if he pursued her. And yet, the playful part of him thoroughly wanted to chase her! Tag was such a fun game, and he was it, right? Sinclair breathed out, trying to center himself on sparring, not playing. Sin finally decided on a course of action. He purposefully taunted Cersei with a soft growl to get her attention and he clearly presented his just enough of his side to her for it to be a given opening. He was hopeful that she’d take the chance and if she did, Sinclair would attempt to grab her scruff as she darted in and push her into the sand - Gently. He didn’t want to hurt Cersei. In fact, his grip if he got a hold of her might actually be lacking, for he had never seriously grabbed her before even in their rough housing. |
