The Cavern of Secrets holds much more than you can imagine. Once a forbidden place, the ban on entrance has been released...yet, is it a good idea to enter?

Once a great battle had been fought in this cavern, against a dark beast that had once - and still might - dwell here. No one knows where he disappeared to, but there are rumours...

The brute had followed her down the steep slope and now hung his head until she began to call for her sister. His cranium had raised and suddenly he had allowed his vocals to escape, deep voice echoing and bouncing around in the close quarters of the abysmal cavern. Athene! Athene! ATHENE! He leap past her, his long legs pushing his bodice past Hellene's own in a few steps. His hairs brushed her and for a moment, Hellene understood why Athene love might love this man. Why this might be the brute who would be different, who could change her. He knew her past and still wanted to fight for her. He was returning to a place that no doubt was dark and haunted with fear on the off-chance that she was here. Releasing her limbs, she bounded after his, her stride a bit shorter and more careful than he for she did not know the way at all. His form blocked out the light from ahead so she had to go off her other senses. The subtleties of the world was not one of her virtues, and she constantly banged into the walls of the cavern, but she knew the general direction by following the sound of Zev's screams. Athene? Can you hear me? Athene, please. I don't know what I did wrong. Suddenly, Athene collided with the brute in front of her for he had apparently abruptly stopped short. She had slid down the slope and was silently grateful that he had stopped her decent.

The brute was looking around and Hellene backed up, her amber orbs glancing around the immense cavern with the shocking realization that she could see. An eerie light came from the internals... perhaps from the roof of the cavern? It was awesome, and Hellene found herself pausing to admire the scenery, but then Zev was turning, heading back up the slope. Hellene called after him but it yielded naught from the brute but despair. This is where we went. She isn't here. We went down there, the direction I ran. But the clearing stops after that; the only thing there is is a hole in the ceiling that lets in air. Oh, and water; don't forget water. Don't you have any more clues or something? is there something I'm missing that you would know? Hellene shook her head, not understanding. Perhaps they had missed her. Perhaps Athene was come and gone. They were too late. Athene must have left already, returned to their home pack. They had failed.

Or had they. Slowly, the femme opened her maw, but then shut it again. Her eyes scanned the earth - the only paw prints that were here belonged either to Zev or herself. Athene had never been here. They hadn't missed her... this wasn't the place. "Athene was never here. But we may not be too late. Was this the place you were aiming to travel to? What was your purpose? What was your goal? Did you have a goal and she followed, or did she have a goal destination and you followed? Where, Zev!? Think hard, think fast! Where were you suppose to go?" The urgency in her voice could not be contained or mistaken as her voice began to rise in volume until she was practically shouting at him, adrenaline rushing through her veins.
