( I LOVE THIS GAME TOO :D Why doesn't she come on down and play? Hopefully she doesn't go away. <--------Frozen reference ^_^ Let's see if I can slip another one in here can we? ;) )
He found me amusing, especially when I nearly fell to what could have been a terrible injury. He chuckled and I bit back an annoyed growl when I was on steady ground. I could feel his gaze slide over my body and I shivered slightly, feeling uncomfortable under those silver pools of his. He couldn't have been that interested in me, I wasn't anything special. I was a bit of a fixer upper, I had a few flaws. I didn't think I was appealing to look at, or even hold a conversation with. The only thing interesting about me was my past, and there was absolutely no way I was going to tell this stranger something like that. It was the only weakness I had, my only kryponite in this world I live in with no attachments.
I stared at him, he looked like a wolf that could attack me without a reason other than being bored. But the way he gave me that dashing, mischievous grin, I knew he had no intention of attack, atleast for now. When he stretched, I perked my eyebrow slightly. Enderly was certainly not hard on the eyes, but I wasn't some dim witted vixen that would swoon and spill all my secrets. He sat down and his tail swished back and forth, I knew he was giving me two options: be stuck up there until he grew bored, or come down. The second one was certainly out of the picture until I could make sure he didn't work for my brother. I'd rather die at the hands of a loner than at my brothers command. Even the mere thought of my brother left a bad taste in my mouth that I had to swallow down before it got the better of my judgement and I said something I didn't want to.
"What reason do you have for hiding?" he countered my question, the way his ears swiveled and his eyes stayed glued on me I knew he wanted an answer. I also knew it had to be atleast somewhat convincing other wise he'd press farther and farther, pinning me in a web of lies. "Could it be that wonderful hare you brought in with you?" He said while sniffing. "I can tell you haven't eaten it. If you don't want it I'm sure there are others who would love to have a bite. Name's Enderly, my dear. Who do I have the pleasure of stalking today?" I immediately brought my guard even farther up at the word stalk. My silver eyes gave him a long, calculating stare, trying to figure out his meaning behind the word that he so carelessly threw out there.
He chuckled again, I remained as quiet as a mouse. I knew he knew I was stuck up here, unless I wanted to head back and come down in an attempt to find a hiding spot. But I knew if I tried that he'd pursue me. I decided it was best to answer his questions and bore him into leaving. "Hiding? No, i'm just boring is all. Sorry to disappoint, never been one for being with others." It was a lie that slid off my tongue so silkily. I thought it was convincing enough, but who knew if Enderly would be so easily swayed. Besides it wasn't entirely a lie, I had always preferred being alone and I didn't think was in any way interesting.
I turned my head back to my meal and shrugged my shoulders. "You can have it if you'd like, I was just going to save it till whenever," I had actually planned on eating it, but if it could get him to leave faster I didn't mind having to catch another rabbit. When he said my dear I winced, the only others to call me that had been family. My heart stung but I quickly pushed it back and gave a friendly, polite smile. "Denali," I said honestly, hoping to get a reaction out of him if he actually was working for my brother.
But I don't want good and I don't want good enough, I want can't sleep, can't breathe without you love....
