She likes to think that she is so big, so grown up. Her curiosities are always drawing her further and further from home as she finds no real happiness with remaining so stagnant each day. With everything she does, whether she is aware of it or not, Namira brings some piece of happiness or enjoyment to someone. Either with her laughable naivety or from her playful antics alone. In the truth of it all - she just strives to enjoy the life she has been given.

This rather chilled winter morning, she finds herself awake earlier than normal and once she has begun her day she cannot so easily go back to sleep. She makes an attempt at laying back down again but her restless mind is already wandering in every direction, pondering on where she may go or who she may meet. And thus, she rises from her den amongst her family and embarks upon her journey from Taviora, her gait bouncy and her tail waving rhythmically behind her with each step.

Perhaps on this day she will travel further from her woodland home and into the unmarked forest beyond, she has yet to discover a forest as great as the one her pack resides in. Besides that fact, she loves playing in the labyrinth of trees!

Her easy jog takes her proudly from her homeland and into open territory, her head held high and her senses on alert. She was learning so much from her parents and the elders in the pack, how to carry herself properly, how to detect danger. It was all so fascinating and fun to learn new things! This is why she is moved to explore the unknown forest and the prospect of such findings has her moving up into a loping gait as she sees the first trees upon the horizon.

Halfway to the large woodland, she slowed back down and allowed herself the time to catch her breath as her tongue lolled out from her agape jaws. Father would be so proud of her! She was on her own and fending for herself already before she was even a year old! The thought made her bound forward with glee, tossing her head and finishing her final few strides into the forest with a smile upon her face. But her joyous attitude and bouncing prance soon died down as she continued to move forward and the soft sounds of this new place had her quieting herself just to listen. To become more aware.

Her ears were perked forward upon her dainty, little skull and her eyes wide with curiosity and the slightest sliver of fear. What if there were monsters in these woods that don’t live in those at home? A crackling branch had her springing from her path, her fur frizzing onto their ends and her ears laid back as she turned toward the noise. Her lungs heaved in and out heavily as she waited and waited, but nothing appeared. And so, believing that all danger was not to be found, she pressed onward.

It is only when she walked about five hundred yards did the sound of another creature capture her interest, though not as loud and frightening as the other sound she had heard moments prior. The young, auburn girl rounds a large tree trunk to see the black, silver and russet figure of another wolf crouched beneath an arched tree root. Lavender eyes were alight with excitement as she pranced forward and lowered into a play bow right in front of the boy so that their noses were nearly touching. “Don’t you know that you look silly doing that?” She giggled as her tassel swayed happily in the air. Boy, did it look fun though!
