Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

'DON'T LET THE DEVIL SPEAK-- SHILOH/TESS

I don't know why I'm still surprised
Even angels have their wicked schemes
And you take that to new extremes
It seems that he had found a friend in his newly discovered sibling, Shiloh, and she appeared to be just as intrigued with him. She did not prate so often and did nothing to irritate him in any manner; if anything, her curiosity that has seemed to latch onto him was quite pleasing. It was enjoyable to have someone recognize and want to know him.. to give him a chance. And so when she offered to accompany him along her way to Taviora he did not deny her that right.

Kane had welcomely accepted the girl’s request to seek guidance under another alpha; and what right did he have to say no? Their father understood well that his children and blood relatives could easily become dragged down by the titles and names given to those of angelic blood, lost amongst the legions of them, really. Haziel has never harbored a sense of dislike or hatred for his family, nor his parents, but he simply could not settle into life here and become nothing more than the cursed blind son of the angelic alphas. Some did not see him capable of transforming into something of worth or greatness but the sense of confidence that his father instilled in him now caused a slight smile to lighten his features. It was always a glad thing to know that someone, especially someone of such importance, was rooting for him across the way.

He feels his father’s figure move toward him and he too leans in to accept the warming embrace - the son of Kane is not above displaying love upon their first goodbye. “Thank-you, father. I will make you proud..” A promise spoken in an even tone as he releases himself from Kane’s touch and turns to look upon Shiloh, his ears perking forward as he now recognizes her request. The sound of her sudden movement causes them to twitch as she approaches to rub against him kindly, something he was not expecting from a sibling, and yet perhaps she needs this to feel a sense of support in her final decision. “Let us go.” He speaks as he turns from her and to Kane once again, bumping his head against his father’s own before pivoting away and beginning their trek toward the seaside territory.

He is much larger than Shiloh and is careful to keep his pace steady, though slower than normal, so that she may be capable of keeping up with him even through the toughest parts of the wild lands. “How old are you?” He casually inquires as they move along, one ear flicking to her for a moment as he pauses and awaits her response. She could not be any older than he by the sound of her voice, her size, and the scent that she carries with her. Still, he does not want to make this trip uncomfortable with silence.

As the miles pass beneath their paws and the conversations continue on he begins to feel a sense of connectivity with her in some odd way. There is something.. different about her that he picks up on nearly immediately and yet he cannot place is entirely. It is not very long before they are encroaching upon the border of Glorall, the path taken had lead them to the shore and traveling down the sandy beaches toward the borderline. It was invigorating to be in such a heavenly place, the sound of the ocean calming his very soul, and the salty winds kissing his fur gently. “I quite like this place already.” A smile spreads upon his lips as he looks to Shiloh and slows his pace to a walk before the territory begins, eventually stopping where the odor is pungent.

“Are you sure you do not want to stay here.. with me?” It is a quick question before the alpha or whomever designated comes to greet them as to not apply any unneeded pressure upon her shoulders about the decision. He is patient enough for her reply, nodding in agreement, before sending out the call to notify the pack of their whereabouts. He can feel in his very bones, the potential that lays for him in this pack, it is something that cannot be shaken and with his father’s words still upon his mind, he is confident that he will become a valuable asset to this pack.
