Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

Why she had left Aurora Borealis after the meeting she was not sure, she just knew that she needed to get away from there for a little. Sometimes when she would wander the pack lands she thought she could smell him and she couldn’t bear that. She needed to keep her mind away from him, but it always seemed that the harder she tried to distract herself the more her mind wandered to him. How she wished that he was still by her side, doing everything with her as they once did. And now he was just gone. It was as if she had lost a piece of herself, half of herself, and she didn’t know how to put herself back together on her own. This was where the ess’ thoughts were when she was suddenly interrupted. The black femme had curled herself into as tight a ball as possible, tail wrapped around her nose, whimpers unconsciously escaping her, shaking slightly, eyes closed tight.

The femme jumped when she felt another form curling around her. For an instant she thought he was back and her heart swelled, relaxing for a moment and curling into him before opening her eyes. She was surprised to see a silver form, electric blue orbs looking at her with concern. She had been expecting the dark brown-black form with his chocolate brown eyes looking her, not the form of her alpha. The brute’s head curled over her neck and she turned her gaze away from him, eyes filling unconsciously with tears at her stupidity. If she had been paying attention at all she would have caught his scent and instantly known who it was, but she had not been paying attention to anything around her.

After a moment the femme could hear words reaching her ears as the silver brute continued to rest his head on her. Her black audettes perked, forcing herself to listen to the words of her alpha, “I am so sorry, my friend, for what he has done to you. I will not tell you that he is not worthy of your love, or that the pain will end soon, for I will not ever tell you a lie. I will tell you, however, that you will find another and you will love again and be happy again with time. Until then, we shall just have to keep you busy. Starting with the position you spoke up about.” Chenzii continued to stay silent as the silver brujo stood up and sighed. She was now nervous, having him in front of her. Would he be able to tell that she had just been crying? She never cried in front of others, not wanting to let herself appear weak in any form, and being around her alpha made her feel no different, even though they were friends. His vocals continued as she began to rise as well, “As you know, we have an alliance with Saw Tooth. I wish for you to travel there and tell Moth, if she does not already know, of the new Alpha at Moondown Shadow, dubbed Striker. Tell her of our new alliance with him and that two of my offspring, Aindreas and Adara, have taken up residence there out of good faith. You do not have to leave now of course. But whenever you feel that you are ready.” As she listened to his words she stood and stretched, first her back legs and hips and then her front limbs, feeling her joints crack. Her pelt was still a wreck and she knew she would need to stop at the river to wash herself before heading to any pack, even back to her own.

After a moment of silent she nodded to him, not sure what to say, if she should apologize or not. After a few more moments she decided it would be better to apologize than not. ”I..I’m.” Words seemed to fail her for a moment as her voice cracked. She cleared her throat and began again, voice shaking slightly, ”I’m sorry Kalgalath,” she finally managed to choke out. ”I will be presentable and ready to travel to Moth soon, I promise.” She did not address the other words he had said to her, not sure what she would say. She was just trying to keep it together enough for the moment to have a conversation right now and not let herself break down in front of another.
