Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Walking, he thinks, while also being a fabulous chance to increase cardiovascular health also allows the mind to be given the chance to contemplate the matters of society. One of these matters, Pan is sure, are his children. While the gleaming golden boy is given to possess the upmost faith in his daughter, the girl a veritable child genius he is sure, he is given to worry consistently for his son. Galileo, he thinks, is not really hitting those childhood milestones the male is assured he should be. By the time he had been gal’s age he had already advised Bahamut on the matters of pack diplomacy while mapping the borders of Scotavia and having earned a comprehensive knowledge of the solar system. Galileo, he is sure, has achieved little more then the ability to arrange sticks in a…..stick-like fashion. Nivaiq, he thinks, is more likely to be the weak link in the evolutionary chain and next time he will be assured to increase the number of pups she has, if only to better his chances of further child prodigies. The stocky, muscular young male moves to increase his pace as he moves to lope down from the mountains of Spirane and towards the scent of the ocean, already having assured himself of the most geometrically correct path, the blue of the water within his ebony-eyed sights as he wanders towards the border line. It had been some years indeed since he had lived within these lands, since he had stood as his Brother Weylin’s own Hand or sorts and indeed for the barest moment he is given to almost….miss the black wolf he had walked for so long beside and yet, those last days of Weylin’s existence haunt him still. He had told him…warned him….near pleaded with him not to offend Diveen, not to approach in the way he did and Weylin hadn’t listened. For the first time I so many years he had been told to….shut-up….by his older brother and indeed some part of Pan had never truly recovered from this, never truly accepted it. He had been a fool not to listen, his own selfishness had been his ruin and yet some part of the golden boy wonders still if he may still have lived if not for the fall out with the Angel Pack.

It hardly matters now, he supposes and as such he turns such futile and useless emotions away. Death was final, the end, there was no more and to dwell upon such things was a waste of otherwise useful brain capacity. With something of a snort the heavy male rests politely upon the border line, muzzle lifted to call for the Alpha Tesseract or any whom may hold such a power, determined to do as asked and once more reclaim his proper place beside his chosen Alpha. He has been wasted for far to many years, by far to many alpha’s whom simply did not listen, whom commanded endless tasks from him, all of which were completed and yet still he was ignored perhaps had Purge listened and not been late to lifes appointments as he had told her on their first meeting- she would still be in charge of the mountain. As it is however, he is content with Dany and her leadership. The girl is from proven blood, after all and if nothing else Pan hopes for some stability. If it is that his newest Alpha should seek an alliance with the ocean pack, then so be it. Glorall is a stable pack, it has many advantageous applications and Pan is content enough to do as he has been asked and treat with them, assured he can secure an amicable deal with the white alpha male whom has ruled so long.

He pauses now to wait, those final notes of his howl dying, golden tail tucked about his paws, beginning to consider the points for alliance he finds by far the most suitable to be mentioned. After all, to sit ideally and enjoy the sunshine is by no means a good use of time.
