Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Sinclair had been gone for quite some time and she had begun to, well, she felt funny with him not around. There were so many new things she wanted to tell him but she wasn't entirely trusting enough to go to Diveen, not exactly knowing anybody there except him. Just because he had family there didn't mean anything for her. She had been waiting, too, to go to Taviora, putting off her training in order to go with him. Her father called it irresponsible, but she preferred to see it as kind - he had family there, too, and she wanted them to spend time together and it would make her making friends there easier too, right? It seemed smart. She thought it the best way to go about things and yet, she still needed to learn. That could not be denied in any way.

She had been speaking to her father on just that matter when Riopat's call echoed across the flats of Glorall, a call for Tesseract and yet he cast his daughter an almost mischievous look. If you think you're ready, go deal with this in my steed. Let us see. She flattened her ears back at his tone, hardly liking the expectation that lingered in each word but wordlessly, she nodded and began in the direction of the howl. Riopat had become their most efficient healer in the absence of... Chickadee, if she remembered correctly, and she had seemed kind enough from what Cersei's father had said. Still, she had the bite of nervousness in her gut as she loped towards the woman's den, her tail bouncing in greeting behind her as she flashed the taller girl a broad grin.

"I don't think we've met properly but father has sent me to talk with you. He says you should have some kind of... report, and well, I'm supposed to some learning too."

The words came out a little awkwardly perhaps, her confidence wavering as she mentioned the training though she tried her hardest to retain a confident, composed posture as she stood before her elder. She flashed a sheepish grin then, waving her tail once more as her ears flickered back momentarily - every damn time!

"I'm Cersei, by the way."
