At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

KADIRI

Dear Homeland

Meddled in the dark, the image of reality was being distorted through the shinning surfaces of an infinitely sided crystal. A cobra was striking, his jaws lashing out and retracting with unnerving precision. The succeeded blow was like a temporary tranquilizer - for a much needed reprieve, the clouds shrouding Kadiri’s dismally spiralling life parted.

His breath was muffled by the scruff of clearly confused victim. She was slight, dark and weighed barely half of what Kadiri might have been used to bearing. Vaguely, as if in his peripherals, the molten gold dragon was aware that a soft voice had wavered out on the night air. But it was clarity, not humanity that Kadiri now grasped like a lifeline, and her pleas called up no exception of sympathy in the fallen prince.

It was easy to drag her small body over the sand, eventually the girl stopped wriggling and outed a steady but quiet stream of whimpers. If the little princess thought that her words reached the treacherous gangster… He had been asked to find them a girl, one who apparently they would proceed to title as royalty - Kadiri was following orders, or rather, barging towards what he wanted. Her voice was a stray breeze on the open ocean, barely stirring the remote seas of the cold prince’s mind. If she would just SHUT UP. They couldn’t carry on like this - Kadiri might have swept off every track he made on the way here with this bag of bones, but not in daylight he couldn’t.

Releasing his traplike hold on the black innocent’s scruff, Kad shoved his shoulders forward, throwing his package into the ground. Then his cocky grimace with a twisted snarl was at her ear - too bad she would miss it - and whispering. “Listen princess, want to go home do you?” Smooth and deep, Kad’s voice melded into the surrounding shore, homogenous with the delicate cover of night. As close as they were to the girl’s aud though, they would be a rushing stream of advice. “Well how about I make you a deal. Savour your memories child, all you want. Here’s what I need from you in exchange. You walk on my left, at my shoulder and no higher. At no point do you stop following me. At no point do you draw attention to yourself.” It was imperative that they slip away from this heavily populated realm without ado. Kadiri bloodshot opal-like blue-green eyes were wired for extravagance and superiority - he was no murderer and the wast of time it would cause would be very… unwelcome. “Now get up! Follow me… your highness The last words were a faint whisper, barely audible yet holding all the scorn and distaste in the world.
Any vixen under his authority would have been honoured to hold the role that this rag doll had now… but here he was, stuck with a pity muttering weakling.
