Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Come on, can’t you see that you’re the pawn and I’m the KING

He pressed his nose into the soft snow he couldn’t say that he hated it all together. It made tracking prey much easier but it also allowed him to be tracked with ease. He moved silently across the fields following the tracks of an opossum. Sure it wouldn’t be large but he kept himself well fed on the odds and in around Iromar. He was sure to find his snack eventually but for the moment he was given to other thoughts.

It had been many months since he had last seen Shiloh and Aviias but where certain they where fine. For the time being he had his own events taking place. He had heard the news of his brothers death spread around the swamp. He hadn’t know his brother long and so felt little for him but he was pleased to feel the unease around him. Perhaps they would go after his brothers killer. He would love to watch his pack rip the offender apart. He wondered how his brother died, was it swift? Did the female want him to suffer? What of when she and the male had made their visit; why where they allowed to live? He often wondered if Shiloh has heard anything or her thoughts on the matter. Perhaps he would even be given to visit her.

Then his thoughts wonder back to Raven. What does she truly know? Does she prove to be a threat and expose his explorations? Part of him desired to force her into silence and yet the other half thrived on the knowledge she held over him. The fact she knew more about him then everyone else in Iromar kept his interest most of all.

He found his way out of his thoughts as the scent seemed to grow stronger than before. He knew he was much closer now and finally caught a glimpse of his prey. He stalked it in silence before leaping out and attempting to sieze it in his jaws. He would crush its spine if he got his paws on it and intends to do just that.
