ONLY THE STRONG WILL SURVIVE

M A G N U S
THE spotted boy did not have to look for long before he spotted the familiar form of Pilar in the distance. Luckily, he was not on a precarious part of the ridge and could pick up the pace without risking his life in the process. His ears leaned forward at the sound of her voice and he called out a returned greeting, ”Pilar!”. He reached his muzzle out as they reached each other, bumping it with hers.

PILAR asked what brought him to the Ridge but that was momentarily forgotten when she mentioned the markings. ”You’ve found them?” that was an exciting prospect indeed. ”Did you find any meaning to them in relation to the ones in the Bay? I’ve been trying to decipher them but I’ve had little luck.” There were so many intricate designs and he’d found that more hid behind the outcrops; there were even some covering the walls of a nearby cave. He found it all very odd and exciting.

HIS blue eyes swept around the area and then back to Pilar, ”Is this where you live?” He assumed it was, but perhaps she was just exploring as he was. Fleetingly he wondered if her stallion would barrel into the conversation and try to chase him off but the thought was gone before it really formed; lost in the whirlwind of Magnus’ mind. ”It’s much warmer than the bay”.
