Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

Skipper's eyes softened, auds perking up to catch each one of his friend's words. He sighed softly, lowering his cranium to rest on his crossed paws, watching Row with his wide blue eyes. Hearing Row call them screw ups, though, caused the young king to raise his head once more, his gaze going hard for a split second. "We're not screw ups, Row," he said, his voice soft but firm. His mood softened once again and he shook his head slowly, breathing out a soft sigh. "Just.. Everyone makes mistakes, right? Now we know what not to do when starting a 'pack'. I shouldn't leave everyone alone, and you shouldn't be a leader." He chuckled, his tone light and playful. A wide smile pulled over his lips again as he looked over at Seerower, his banner swishing against the grass behind him.

He knew that now was not a time to joke. Row was feeling awful, Skipper could tell. He was being so moody -- which was really not like his Row. The younger boy was always one to bottle up his emotions, much like the leader himself. No, Skipper wasn't good at pouring out his emotions. He would so much rather keep all of his feelings to himself. The idea of him whining about how unfair life was seemed ridiculous. After all, Skipper had all he needed. He slept wherever he wanted, ate whatever he could catch, and he had the best friend in the entire world. The thought alone caused a small smile to curl upon his kissers once more.

Huffing out another soft sigh, Skipper pushed himself onto his paws and moved to lay next to the smaller boy, bumping their shoulders together gently. "We're not screw ups. I'd say we're handling everything pretty well. Just don't stress it, okay? I'm sure everyone's fine, anyway. They were all pretty strong pups," Skipper promised, leaning over to nuzzle his nose gently against Seerower's cheek. "Cheer up, mate. Everything's going to be okay."

OOC - Gah, this is so stubby, I'm sorry!
