Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

namirawhat dreams are made of

Her adventure had been a short lived on after her time in the valley. After, she had returned home just in time to catch word of a new pack forming to the east. Of course, her young mind had grown curious of it with whimsical dreams filled with knights and mystery. In Taviora, she'd had to live beneath her father's shadow: he was an experienced healer, after all, but her? Namira simply wanted to dream and enjoy herself. Would she be able to do that in the new pack? Of course, she wouldn't be happy just thinking about it - she had to find out. Besides, she'd become damn good at exploring on her nimble little paws, a flash of russet loping through the fields in search of something she had no idea how to find.

She supposed that was how it was done though. You couldn't find something without starting to look, at least, and the last time she had truly had fun was when she had accidentally come across Praetor. So, with that, she continued through the fields until she found the river. The moment her paws hit the rocky shoreline, she huffed and began to follow it south, hoping to find somewhere to cross. So far, she hadn't gotten any further east!

Her thoughts - or day dreams - were quickly interrupted by a sudden splash; it was a heavy sound, not like one she'd heard before. Typically, one so young might have run but not her... no, she instantly envisioned it being some sort of quest she'd need to partake in. Somebody might have needed saving! Her tail waved at the idea as she suddenly bounded forward, quickly crossing the distance from point her to point stranger. Really, the bedraggled girl was entirely a stranger and yet... strangely not. For a split second, she thought she might have found one of her sisters taking an unusual form of bathing but... the colours were wrong. Still, she had to smile at finding the stranger unharmed, though she was still at a loss as to what she was doing.

"Do you need help?"

She inquired sweetly before pacing forward to where the water lapped at the rocks. Tentatively, she dipped her toes in to feel the pleasant warmth of the water. She supposed she could help if the water were that warm, surely.
