Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Octavia tries to pull her head together. She’d come home. What did that mean? Was this place home to her at all? A strange feeling was gnawing away at her gut, and she was trying to keep track of her thoughts. She wants to wander, and yet… and yet here she is. The dark princess had let them all know she was back, and now she was obligated to stay. It wasn’t painful, it was her duty, and yet… there had to be something out there. Something out there for her. Everything hurt, nothing made sense, and the dark princess was taking her damn sweet time putting her head back together… so there was that.

What she does see is a young man in the distance. A young man she recognizes from a long time ago, and one that makes her tail twitch slightly. All of a sudden she’s a little girl again, sitting at her father’s side, sassing Tristan because she doesn’t know how to tell him she likes him. Things are both the same and different now. Things are weird, and maybe Octavia doesn’t know how to handle that. Things… things probably haven’t changed. She moves with her awkward sort of grace and sits her rump down beside Tristan’s on the ground, eyes flicking to his face. “Y’came back.” Right. She always forgot not to mumble.
