News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

i'll worship like a dog at the shrine of your lies;

She had flown after him as he bounded away, his platinum fur sparking in the noonday sun while her golden one drew alongside him. He was fast, but she was lighter of foot and weight and she managed to catch up easily. Neirin might be her sun, warming her days, but Ragnarok was her moon. The immovable force that pulled her in with fierceness much as the moon controlled the tides of the sea. It was a natural force that could not be contested. Dropping in to pace with him she nudged her tawny shoulder in to his, somewhat fascinated at how their alternate hairs crisscrossed into one another, merging and intersecting again and again as their souls had. It was as easy as breathing to be alongside him.

She nipped at his heels, diving in and out around him much as he did her simply for the sheer amusement it brought her. Their travels gave her time to study the three long, parallel scars that ran down his chest toward his legs. She had paid them little attention until now, focused more on the big picture than the details before. They sent her mind reeling at what could have caused such lasting damage to her moon. Biting back the questions she decided it could wait for a later time. Today was about joy and celebrating the sheer fact they had found one another, everything else could wait.

It was easy to tell when they finally approached the boarders of the mountain dwelling pack, the scent of multiple wolves layering the borders in an undeniable way. She nodded at his single-worded confirmation to it all, excitement racing down her spine at the idea of racing amongst the rocks and crags above. His next statement quieted her a bit, so his parents had been imprints as well. It wasn’t hard to image the bond of the soul leading to a bond of the heart as well. It was easy to wonder what might have come to pass had the meetings of her Sun and Moon been reversed. Would Neirin even be interested in her? Would Spirane have become the true north of her compass instead of Asteraia? She in no way regretted her love of Neirin, and such thoughts were definitely pernicious, but it was an idea that had begun tumbling around her mind too much during their short journey. Regardless she was excited to see the place where he had entered this world. “Well that and I’m sure the view was simply to die for,” she said with a grin, more so to drive away the idea of being in that same intimate place with him at her side. What web she was getting caught up in.

The nip at her shoulder drove her back in to the correct frame of mind, letting out a barking laugh as she drove in to the rocky embrace of Spirane. Her lithe form ran smoothly across the rock-strewn terrain, almost as if she was built for this life. Like a mountain goat she hopped from rock to rock as if running some unseen obstacle course until she was behind her moon, he still pulling her toward him as always. Her golden muzzle snaked out, grasping the few guard hairs which protruded from his tail further than any others and giving a gentle tug before she pushed herself harder to be alongside him. Her build was more appropriate for this setting, but he knew the area and she would bow to his advantage knowing he would lead her where they needed to be.
