Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

Watch me fall above like a vicious dove

ISTAS

They don't see me coming, who can blame them?

Istas had his mission. He was to venture to Taviora in an attempt to track down Siren, the Alpha’s daughter. It would be pretty easy getting in; he wasn’t even going to disguise himself. Why should he? For a change it would be easier infiltrating a pack as himself rather than as Never or any of his other aliases. His brother, Wraith, lived there after all, he could play it off as a family visit, plus Iromar had a pact with Taviora it should be fine and welcome. As someone else he would have to sneak around much more and it was much easier to get open friendly answers then the rest was up to him to make sure they were honest answers. Should be easy enough it was his brother, if his brother knew anything to begin with.

For now though Istas wanted to pay a special someone a visit. It may be a few days until they could see each other and Istas wanted to check on the loner brute before heading north. Who knows maybe Renegade would like to go with him at least as far as Enocra Woodland so they could still be close together. It would be up to him, Istas liked his company but he didn’t live on it right now especially with the new found confidence that Renegade was giving him by teaching him how to love. For now though he was heading to their normally meeting spot, the same spot where they had first met a couple seasons ago now. It was cold and dreary today, so different from that sunny day when they had first met but it didn’t really matter.

The ghostly boy moved across the land, his long wavy fur bouncing with each loping step of his long, skinny legs. Soon he spotted his red and white companion and a sly smile crossed the white maw of the brute. He didn’t hesitate to approach him moving up and sliding his muzzle underneath the chin of the brute before sliding his whole form underneath it, sliding his entire fluffy form across his chest and down his side before giving his tail a little teasing flick at the end. He gave a little laugh after his somewhat, preliminary inspection of the male turning around so that the red met his own white eyes.

”Well hello there, Renegade looking just as scruffy and charming as ever.” He said giving another little laugh. ”I’m sorry I can’t stay too long today, got quite an important work to do, but you can accompany me at least to the border if you would like?” The brute said his higher pitched tone obviously showing he would like the company, but Istas certainly wouldn’t be upset if he wouldn’t go.

They never seem to catch my eye but I never wondered why
