The fields had been chosen due to the lack of others, a place where she could remain in solitude and be safe. A place where she could choose to watch the few that had come into the fields, and observe their flaws from afar without risk. But today she is reconsidering her haven. For as she moves back into the winter chilled field the influx seems to hit her like a slap to the face. Her once aching tummy now filled seemed to almost up heave at the scents that dance and sink into her lungs. So many, so many others. Bright eyes linger over the cluster from afar wondering what had brought them here, now. As the effect of having so many begins to take hold on that empty shell. As her heart pounds against her chest as if to free itself and breaths begin to quicken. She never should have come here.
Eyes shift warily seeking an escape or someway to avoid them in order to make it to her little shelter and be rid of them. It is when she see's a break in the group does she move. Hunching herself over as eyes are glued to the ground as she moves. Her fear growing with each step, for the closer she gets the more likely she will loose control and allow her emotions to break that mask she is trying so hard to maintain. As she begins to pass a few on the edges of the group is she forced to stop, for another scent burns it's way into her lungs and despite her fear of so many this one is far more threatening than any other.
For a moment she is motionless, before violet eyes peak up from the ground to rest upon the downed elk. As her head tilts at the sight, somehow ignoring all the noise and useless babble the others are making. And then she squeaks, jumping back as if the elk had risen from it's grave to snatch her. As she backs away bumping into other slightly before she turns to remove herself from all of this. Because her mind is screaming in warning, but to what she is unsure of. Oh my god was she going to die today?..
