Warmth, surrounded by her siblings as they nestle within the fluff of their mothers fur. A twisted pile of limbs and ears as they doze lightly. It is when a paw soon connects to the side of her face, mind you the paw is almost as big as head - so the blow causes her to grunt softly before fluttering eyes open to reveal the sight of a white paw, Anze. Sleepily does she giggle at the intrusion, Anze had some envious feet. She hoped one day her's would follow in her brothers stead. As she adjusts to rest her chin upon the formidable appendage before drifting off once more, as Illa's warm breath seems to fan across her face. As the beginnings of a childish smile takes the corners of her lips, basking in the love she felt for them all. Even love for the red mountain know as Daddy.
The slight snores from the pile of pups is all that fills the den, as they drown out their mother's steady breaths. A shift in the air seems to change, announcing another within. So quiet as not to wake those that slumber. He is big, black, they had all seen him take care of mommy. Hazie, and he would come by to check on her frequently before exiting just as discreetly as he had entered, or so he thought? It is the leg that is pulled beneath her chin that causes her to crash down on top of Illa's snout. Before Illa pushes back and it sends the little red pup to roll off and meet the soil of the den. At the impact eyes are quick to open, allowing the pale green to be seen as she looks for what had happened, catching the slight glimpse of red and white. Her brothers heading towards the light that mommy said we could not go just yet. At the sight her little heart pounds a dash of fear settling in, wondering if the light would eat her brothers.
Standing as if to follow she pauses only to return to what was the pile, now standing before her sister. Her warm tongue escapes as she licks at sissy's face, trying to rouse her.
"Illa, wake up." She whispers, peeking over at momma to make sure she had not moved.
"Illa, Vaddy and Anze have gone to the light, we must follow." The excitement and yet fear in her innocent voice cannot be denied, for she too had wondered what that light was but then again hoped her brothers were safe. As her head lifts to look at the light, pale green eyes never hiding the emotions within. It is then she moves to rub along her sister as she moves to the light, cautious and yet brave. For what if they needed saving? That thought seems to make her little body tremble, hoping Illa was now up as she charges with all her little might towards the light.
The littlest and most non-threatening battle cry escapes her mouth, as she prepares to save her brothers. The light so bright she cannot see where she is going as she slips out. An unseen force, built as if a wall causes her to collide and fall to the ground. The air rushed out of her lungs as confusion sets in. Well, what was that? As pale green eyes shift and head turns to look at the thing that had brought her defeat. But it is everything else that catches her eyes, green - endless green. Flowers a bloom as the light seems now to rest in blue world above, perhaps her cry had scared it away? As a red furred form comes into sight. Vaddy! He must have been the wall, attempting to stand from the collision she rushes to his side, fretting he had been hurt.
"Vaddy, you ok?" She pauses, the gentle and sweet tones of her voice, showing her grief over his care.
"I thought the light ate you, I was coming to save you." She grins up at him, before smacking a lick across his cheek then turning to Panzer, her little tail just a wagging.
"Anze you're safe too!" As she bounds over to him, licking at his cheek as well. She soon turns looking out now at the vast land, as she smiles at the beauty and colors of the world.
"It's so pretty." She breathes in amazement. A silent strength soon finds it's way to her, a comfort she relishes as she turns to grin at Camilla, her little tail thumping along the ground.
"Illa, look how pretty."
It is then she remembers that they had disobeyed momma and a sad look appears on her face,
"Will mommy be mad at us?.." Her little lip seems to tremble at the idea of upsetting mommy. She had not wanted to disobey but neither had she wanted to leave her brothers alone when she had feared for them, maybe her and Illa could find something to make momma happy. Yes, that's what they could do! As briefly do her eyes seek the den entrance, before returning to her siblings.
