It is the light that streams in through the den entrance that causes her eyes to flutter, blinking open. A small yawn working her little jaws as her tongue rolls out before retreating back. Pale green eyes look around, noticing that once again she is surrounded by her family. The larger bodies of her siblings like a sheltering cocoon all tucked safely by their mothers side. As pale green eyes meet orange ones, a smile pulls at her lips and her tail does a little dance - her little behind revealing her excitement that mommy was awake. Carefully she removes herself from the mass of limbs and fur, so tempted to reach out and give them a sign of affection but not wanting to wake them. Toes soon meet the soil as she moves to her mothers nose, her whole little body wiggling like a worm as she licks at the air in anticipation of kisses. Mommy does not disappoint either, as she basks in the attention and adoration they have for one another.
"Mommy has Hazie come by yet?" She whispers in between her excitement. She had come to enjoy the bigger fellow, he took care of mommy after all, he was like a super hero. Yes, that's what Hazie was. With his magic things he helped mommy feel better. As she pauses waiting patiently, pale green eyes revealing her emotions to her mother. She watches as a small smile appears on her mothers lips as she shakes her head no. Whispering back,
"Soon my little one.." Those words cause another rush of happiness to overtake the little pup, causing her a slight hindrance as she walked to the other side of the den.
The other day when they had left the den she had found a pretty flower, one that needed someone just as special to have and after she had already gave the others away she had saved this one for Hazie. Gently picking it up, a passing glance at her mommy grinning around the stem as she moves to the den's entrance. Making sure her mommy could see her at all times. The bright light that meets her pale eyes momentarily blinds her for a moment, blinking away the tears that began to form from the shift in lightning. As her vision clears the beauty of the world she had been born into seems to swamp her eyes and she is silent, taking it all in once more just as she had done when she had first seen it. She cannot deny to pull she feels to wander out and explore, but she does not want to upset mommy, her little heart could not take her mommy upset - so with a growing smile she is content to wait at the entrance, pale eyes scanning the plains for the sight of Hazie, hoping he would not be much longer, for already can she feel her little heart pound with anticipation. For he was one of few mommy deemed safe and was allowed to be near them. As soon she begins to pace, as if to help remove some of the excess energy, a wide smile as she tries her best not to cover the delicate flower between her jaws in puppy drool, for she had learned this fluffy flowers did not like to get wet and they also did not taste good - she'll have to remember to tell Hazie that, nodding absently at her thoughts.
