Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Praetor
if only the world could know who I really am

I certainely did not expect the barrage of questions from one of the young pups. She was curious though, a mind young and wishing to drink up the world and learn. I could only let my muzzle grow with a warm grin. Perhaps I do have a weak point for the youth in the world, wishing to let them learn and see the world from their own unique perspectives. I allowed their looks and sniffs, lowing my head a bit to be more on level with them.

Before I can speak though, another comes forth, and my lavender and blue eyes switch over to see who it is. I immediately recognize the wolf of brown hues. It is Cae, a wolf I have known since I was a young pup. I dip my head to him as he introduces me, and I am glad the pack member is here to come along on the adventure to Glorall. My tail does wag, with gleams of silver and red threads.

"Hello, Cae, and yes, I am Praetor, from Glorall, another pack full of wolves just like you and I," I say with a grin, looking towards the golden girl as she speaks of Embla, and then of herself being trouble. I lifted a dark brow, and did hope that they would not get themselves into too much trouble on their trip. I was tasked to ensure their safety while opening their minds, and I must be able to make their their minds do not wander too far from protective minds. I am relieved that Cae is here with me, that is for sure.

It appears that more have come to join us. I am given a chance to view a rather adorable display, and my tail continues to wag. There was something so special about the young, the three boys that appeared seemed to excited. I got to know all of their names. One of the boys seemed particularly excited to see me, although I have never met them personally. I did hope the Queen did announce I would come, so I am glad to see that one of them is excited to go to my homeland. The golden girl seemed more confused as to what the sea was, another one of the three boys was more held back. Well, we certainly had a diverse crowd here.

"Yes, I am here to take your all to the sea. The sea, is a vast, endless body of water. Imagine a lake, but so much bigger. Come, let us go," I say, my eyes looking and locking on Drogon with an assuring grin, before my eyes sweep over all the pups. I turn, my dark paws making their way towards Glorall.

I do continuously watch over them as I lead, ensuring I do not lose a single pup on our way there, and hoping Cae assists me in keeping them all together. When we do arrive to Glorall, there are dunes blocking the vision to the sea, but the smell begins to change and turn to salty hue. I cannot help if I get more pep to my step when I am here. It is a beautiful, amazing place. When we arrive to a dune where I know they can see the sea once on top, I stand on the bottom, stopping, and looking back at all the young pups.

"Now, the sea is a great thing, beautiful, but very powerful. Over this dune, you can see it even if it is still a ways off. Watch how it moves, before we go to the sandy beach," I say, her head motioning for the pups to climb the dune as I turn and begin to climb it myself. It is sandy, but touched with greens that allowed for easy footing. When I reach the top I stop, waiting for the reactions of the pups on this sunny day.
