Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

This is my Fate.

Things had gotten bad since the day where the bear attacked the pack. Some good happened in between. Haziel had taken Tesseract’s word coming freely to Glorall and begun learning the Angel’s Art he was denied but was his blood right. He didn’t do it because it was his right, he did it to prove those in Diveen about his ‘weakness’ wrong. But plans go array and always seems to have a way of complicating his life, always. He went home after meeting with Malina to see that his home was in a state of disarray, a new scent was on the borders and the pack smelled empty of all who were there. Of course he had heard there was a challenge, when challenges were made they rung all across the lands, but the outcome had been unknown to him until reaching the borders. He worried about Everlyse, Reich and of course the pups they had, but they were gone and while he thought about tracking them down he decided it would be more time worthy for him instead to pick up the pelts he had in his den and take off as well back to Glorall.

It was his old home after all, it had made sense. He even would take the time to stopp by his old occupied den that was far from the ocean as he could get to drop the pelts before moving on to seek out Tesseract, but again challenge roars called causing more chaos in his life. It would be his two homes cast into the realm of chaos, he didn’t want to return to Diveen, it wasn’t meant for him he wouldn’t return there until he proved them all that he was not weak, that he was useful even if he couldn’t see. Seeing seemed to be a burden to everyone anyway. The wolf was a hulking form as he stopped at his den anyway, crossing the new scented borders but everything else seemed to remain generally in shape. While it seemed many of the old scents were gone the one of the alpha was vaguely familiar though for the life of him Haziel could not say why it was. Some of the old memembers seemed to remained, Haziel’s keen nose could smell them all. Sinclair, Riopat, Cersei, and it seemed maybe one of Malina’s children remained but her and her mate… gone. Curses. He would never finish his training at this rate… he would have to track the Dark Angel of Diveen again after this, perhaps though the remaining daughter would know where to find her.

A conversation for later… for now he moved towards the gruff call, unaware of the wolf in charge was so like his grandfather. Would see him as weak, needing purged from the world. A few times Haziel had to turn back, remembering certain paths or ways that might have been blocked off or other changes in the area. It caused him to come towards the many scents a bit later than others, but he was here, hulking black and russet form moving evenly across the grounds towards them , form not lowered simply neutral, black ears and nose twitching directing him with ease towards them all.

He stopped smelling all the wolves in the area most of which were unfamiliar. He scented Malina’s daughter and Riopat among them, the rest complete strangers and really even the two he knew by smell were still strangers…. He his blue and golden eyes stared off in the distance though his head was pointing in the relative direction of the new Alpha. He had heard a girl speak calling herself Alcmene and figured perhaps he should at least state his name.

”Haziel.” He offered in his deep gruff tones, his fur probably looked like a mess standing at odd angles, but Haziel honestly didn’t care, he was clean that was what mattered, something else blindness ignored vanity. He looked deeper than the surface, more than any wolf ever had done for him because it was impossible. Time would quickly tell if this would be his new home or if he should remain alone. Blind or not, he would survive.

To see with eyes unclouded by hate.
Haziel.
