Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Sinclair
Then the Strongest Heart Grows Old

He was happy to do something to distract him and Cersei from this entire situation. Many wolves didn’t seem as bothered, at least not like how he and Cersei were. Riopat was probably the one exception to this rule and Sin worried about her slightly, especially having pups, one of which turned up missing then found in the form of a small dead body. He felt horrible about it too, but the most he could do is attempt to track down the scent that was around the area and it was already faded by the time he had been made aware. A sad line of affairs, but Sinclair had his own family to keep together and keep in their right mind. Cersei needed him and needed this and he wasn’t going to let her down or ever going to let her get hurt ever.

She was never that good at fighting. It was something that brought back memories of a time long before now when she was still vying to be Queen. Maybe she was once more… He couldn’t say for sure but she hadn’t wanted to learn to fight since her days a child, and he remembered during their playful spars that he had always one too, when he tried slightly though sometimes he would fail just to see that confident grin of hers one he hoped he would see again soon.

He woke early that morning, the sun had risen and it was the perfect time to get up and get training. ”Cersei, you ready to start learning?” He asked nudging her with his white muzzle to stir her. He walked around the den stretching his thick fluffy form out legs out one at a time to wake and limber up. He would start easy, basics even though he was sure she knew them. Training and learning wasn’t accomplished in a single day, it would take many lessons a few practice spars and some time together. Sin hoped to give her the most thorough training session of her life.

He moved out of the den once he was done stretching out walking around the den waiting for her to come out and start moving. ”Stretch out love, I can’t have you getting sore. Something I learned the hard way.” He touched her cheek with his nose, a gentle gesture before he proceeded to toss her about just as he did his Tavioran Student Reian. One thing Cersei did have to her advantage though she was a fair bit taller but she was still lighter, a lot of leg and not a lot of thick muscle. She would do fine though, Sin was sure of it.
