There shouldn't be such mistrust in the matter, no concerns on him being here, because he held no ill will towards anyone within the packlands here (as far as he knew). This was not a trip in which he would maraud, unless, he supposed, the plunder was information. That was something he was always in search for, on the move for. If he could learn something, then he would, hands down. Still, he doubted he would learn much of anything while watching a young female twisting and turning and snapping at the snow. His interest in the entire matter was minimal, as he had no care for the Winter antics that some got up to. Riot had better things to do with his time. He did not even take notice that to some she might be considered pretty, because that was also not of his concern.

If they knew him better -- and he knows they probably don't; or at least this one doesn't -- then there would be no worries over such a matter when it came to him. Daenerys knew of his intentions of such things, and how they were far from in sight in any way where he was concerned. No, he was not in this pack, but there were moments in which that he felt that he was. Like he belonged when he didn't, and perhaps he needed to make his choice, once and for all. That would be the better of things for him, and maybe in some subconcious way he had already made his choice. It was more about telling the alpha now. He had waited, he had been patient and careful of the choices, and now it was time to just.. go where he felt he should be.

When the female notices him, Riot is calm, not moving an inch because he wasn't some lurker. He had been moving into the packlands without trying to be any kind of sneaky about the matter, and when he saw her playing, he didn't want to interrupt her. So he had waited calmly enough some ways away from her. Now, she was moving closer to him, and his features were friendly. He listens to her words and gives her a nod of his head. "I am Iscariot, possible canidate for position of Spider of Spirane as pointed out by who I suspect must be your mother, Daenerys. Good to meet you, Princess." His voice was calm and collected, no malice within it. He gave her a reason as to why he was here, and his name. That was a start.

As far as her trying to stare him down, Riot remains unmoved. She speaks again and he gives a small shrug of his shoulders. "I've only spoken with Daenerys and Pan twice, and it was recent. It probably wasn't too concerning of an event for them to alert the rest of the pack. However, if you'd like to call them over, feel free to do so. I need to speak to Daenerys as it stands." He responded lightly, but he made a mental note that this one was probably touchy, and possibly best to be further avoided. Princess complexes could be a hazard to be around, and Riot had no interest in such drama. He had set goals, and he wanted to keep busy on needed things. The feeling of unease around her was not something he was overly fond of.
