Iscariot didn't get the whole concept of tight knit families, because he wasn't really sure what that was. He got the whole idea of 'blood is thicker than water', but it only goes so far in his opinion. He doesn't like the only family he knows he has -- his littermate -- but he doesn't dislike her, either. He feels very little about her existance when it all came right down to it, but he would protect her simply because she was from the same bloodline as he was. Otherwise he didn't need to know much about her, and alas he honestly doesn't know if she has survived all this time or not. Perhaps she ad perished long ago, but he doesn't really believe that. He doesn't believe his blood is that weak at all. It just doesn't much matter where she was to him, and the feeling was possibly mutual.

Eventually Iscariot would want a family with a strong female he knew wouldn't be a complete letdown, but that wasn't something he thought too much about right now. He was not compelled to take any action at all during the Winter months, so it was safe to say he was mostly indifferent to the ordeal at this point in his life. Seven now, but it was only three years tucked away where he didn't think about procreation or that type of companionship. He aspired to be great and in a good spot before he did anything that had to do with that. Since that was most likely going to be at least two or more years down the road, he did need to get cracking on it all. It wasn't suppost to take this long to get at least started, though..

Yet that was what it looked like. Packless, still. Winter had come and gone and he had wanted to have a pack before that had occurred, but no such luck. At least he had learned a great deal about everything, right? And he was still learning, even in something so simply as meeting another wolf. After answering Renai's question and hearing her answer, he nodded. "Understandable. Getting settled in can take time, I'm sure." Of course Iscariot would be barely settled into anything before he would try for whatever task it was that got him to where he wanted to be. Whatever it took to get there. "Sometimes I think my standards are so high that no pack will live up to it, and if so, do I settle and hope it gets better with some hard work?" He isn't sure if he's so much asking Renai for her opinion on simply needing to say it all out loud, though.
