The Grotto

Disaster has struck!
Years ago, an earthquake broke open several entrances into a deep, winding series of subterranean systems. It was thought that deep below, underground rivers snaked their way below Moladion. Now, flooding in the Northern reaches of Moladion has proven this theory to be true.

The Grotto is almost entirely submerged. Many of the entrances are completely inaccessible, and those that are only extend a few hundred feet before ending in water. The lower entrances, however, act almost like a giant drain for Moladion. Water pours down into the Grotto's maw as powerful rapids and waterfalls, and large amounts of debris have build up throughout the area. It can be exceptionally dangerous to travel due to the risk of flash-flooding and dams suddenly breaking, but the Grotto does offer the most consistent access across the floodwaters because of those dams.

Note:The Grotto will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Solitaire wanted to be helpful, and what was more helpful than healing others? He already helped with pack hunts, so that didn't exactly count. Therefore, as a healer and a hunter, he could do double the help for the pack, and do something that he understood the basics for. He had seen it done so many times already, after all. He knows what works and what doesn't, though trying to remember all the little details could be difficult. It won't stop him, though. Solitaire had made up his mind, and even if the position was female oriented, it would not hold him back from trying. If he had the skills, then he should be able to go for the position.

He wanted to be well rounded in most of the things, which was why he joined in on hunts and took fighting lessons from Sinclair. Just in case he needed to defend himself or the pack, of course. He had to be practical about things, and he never wanted to be unable to defend his right for a place in the pack. Solitaire would do all that he had to in order to stay with the last of his family that could stand him. Viora just tended to push his buttons, and Covet wandered around, but Tristan was in Glorall, and it was the pack of his birth. Solitaire would not be pushed away from it. He'd been willing to do just about anything, in fact. He still would, if that needed to be known.

That was why he was busy collecting plantlife where he could, even in the grotto like he was now with the mosses. When the gossamer female there speaks up, Solitaire nodded -- and upon realizing the action might not be well seen -- cleared his throat apologetically. "Yes. And sure, I can take a look." He answered, not wanting anyone to have to get sick from such wounding if it could be avoided. She was telling him that the cold brought her here, and said her name, and asked if there were no caves where he was from. Solitaire grinned a little. "I'm Solitaire, and different caves hold different plants, sometimes. Best to check them all." He pointed out lightly.
