Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Solitaire had been busy gathering herbs and plants and anything that a healer would need to keep up with those skills. It was quiet in Glorall of late, but he still kept busy and didn't bat an eye at the calm that had settled around. There was a sort of unease within him after the hunting party and the fact that not many had shown up, because he had been led to believe that eating together strengthened the bond of a pack, and if there was none of that going on, then where else did it come from? Still, Solitaire was just going to be happy to be here and help out where he could. The first task in mind had been a bust, because the girl with the arrival of strange feelings had vanished.

He did not let himself worry too much on that fact, however. He needed to find another thing to do, and after much thought, he had decided to go for Witch. It was a feminine title, but Solitaire didn't care too much about that. He wanted to be able to help, and what was more helpful than tending to the sick and hurt? It was a good thing to be, and the only bad part in the whole matter was digging through his past to remember what he had seen before. The plants used and how they had been used and for what. He would still seek guidance from others where he could, but with the quiet, and being new, Solitaire honestly did not know who to call for.

All he really knew was his brother and the hunting party, sort of. The meeting had been enough to see some of the others and meet the alpha, at least. Still, he did not know much of what the others were doing. So when the call came and he saw no movement within the pack, he started off at a slow pack, listening and going towards where the sound had come from. He noted the sight of a younger male waiting at the borders, and wondered if anyone else was going to show up. After some minutes, he figured that wasn't the case for now, and walked over curiously. "Hello there. Can I help you?" He asked, ears flicking forward and towards the male.
