The Grotto

Disaster has struck!
Years ago, an earthquake broke open several entrances into a deep, winding series of subterranean systems. It was thought that deep below, underground rivers snaked their way below Moladion. Now, flooding in the Northern reaches of Moladion has proven this theory to be true.

The Grotto is almost entirely submerged. Many of the entrances are completely inaccessible, and those that are only extend a few hundred feet before ending in water. The lower entrances, however, act almost like a giant drain for Moladion. Water pours down into the Grotto's maw as powerful rapids and waterfalls, and large amounts of debris have build up throughout the area. It can be exceptionally dangerous to travel due to the risk of flash-flooding and dams suddenly breaking, but the Grotto does offer the most consistent access across the floodwaters because of those dams.

Note:The Grotto will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Rye
go ahead, LIE to me;

The day had started out strange, to be honest. Rye hadn’t spoken to his twin in months, they kept fighting and to be honest, Rye wasn’t going to put up with his brothers attitude. So, when Ross and his daughter showed up, that had been quite the shock, to be honest. But, it had turned into a pleasant day really. Getting to know one of his nieces. She had spoken of a brother, and half sister, and a half-brother as well. He had two nephews, two nieces. The thought of that made him think of their sister, Renai, and wonder if she too fell into the same thing, with having her own children. Not that he spoke to her or anything. She seemed to hate him and Ross for some reason, which Rye couldn’t figure out right now. Maybe in the distant future he would look for her, maybe she was still here.

But for now, he wandered towards the grotto, it was where he had hung out most of the time. He never spoke to anyone, or really, did anything but then again that was fine with him. He had scoped out the darkest hole in the grotto, one that was much to hard for most to find, which was fine with him. He had just stopped at the river on his way back, catching a medium-sized river rainbow trout, it was currently moribund, still wiggling a little in the grasp of his jaw as he moved, but he knew that in a matter of moments it would stop moving completely. He wasn’t really hungry right this moment, leading him to catch it for later, but his attention was quickly drawn by the small group of wolves that were gathering within the depths.

He stopped by the opening, his split eyes watching the group that was gathering.
