Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Solitaire was there for his family, for Tristan. Life wasn't easy for the litter, it seemed, but Solitaire believed it could get better, and was getting better for him. He had his brother and a pack -- the one he'd been born in -- and that meant the world to him. He was pained by the thought of mother's death and all that had come of it, but he doesn't hold blame for it to any but the creature who had taken the death blow itself. If there was a way to avenge his mother, then Solitaire would take it, but until such a time arrived, he could only keep going as he was. Be there for Tristan and Viora if ever she would accept that fact. Be here for the pack and do what he could to prove that this was indeed where he belonged.

He would mourn what had happened to mother in his own way, probably out of sight, but Solitaire would take time to get used to others being there for the really emotional parts of his life. He simply wasn't ready for that yet, though. He knew Tristan would want to offer him comfort, but there wasn't much his brother could do for him in his grief. However, the words of where mother was buried was of interest, because that was a place he could deal with his pain at. It was good that she got the right kind of burial, and he was grateful for that fact. "I would like to see it sometime, yes." He responded, then took a breath. "Do you know who it was that attacked?" He had to ask. How could he not?

Though Tristan was speaking of Viora again and Solitaire could only divulge what was possible, though he couldn't be sure either way on the matter. He did not know the inner workings of Viora's mind, but it sounded like the issue at hand. Solitaire wasn't sure if Viora would ever open up to either of them on the subject, but he could hope for it. Tristan's words had Solitaire sighing. "That depends on her. She could have been traumatized, and the thing is.. you can be confident and even win a fight and end up with trauma afterwards. She was young, and it doesn't sound like she won much of anything. She could be traumatized for life and there might not be anything we can do for her other than be here for her if she needs it." He said quietly.
