anemone
She had heard of the whole imprint thing, but never saw it firsthand. She had only known of her parents as life mates, never hearing the whole imprint thing, or learning anything about it really. It hadn’t made sense to her and she didn’t want to think about it. How in one moment would change your world and you lost all thoughts and worries except for one wolf. No, she didn’t want that. She wanted someone who would want and love her for who she was, and because they wanted too, not because fate decided it would be that way. It broke her heart, knowing she had yet to find it and she was getting older, and maybe she was due to be alone, in a romantic way at least. Her children would be her best friend. Although, a dubious feeling made it quite clear.
Watching him, he didn’t seem like the kind that would put her in any danger, and that made her at ease, completely at ease. She didn’t know his name, but he was someone who she felt she could talk to, and now was not a time to speculate. She didn’t expect him to do the same as she did, she was just trying to get her large self comfortable. A sigh slipped from her lips before she heard his voice again. His words were charming—much like Nathaniel’s had been. Although, She was already pregnant so there wasn’t anything he would gain from trying to smooth talk her. “I’ve never heard of things like that, you mean that literally right, not just trying to be cute?” She asked honesty. “Oh, I’m Anemone, by the way.”
