He knew that he would eventually have to meet with Eden, but he also wanted to be doing something, have done enough to show his face to the alpha, to ask to speak with him. It was risky business to try now, to see if he could go for the Witch rank. He had already voiced his want to do so, had already tended to the wounds of Frostbite and Tristan for their hunting incidents, but would that be enough? He had been busy collecting and stockpiling plants, herbs, and anything that would be of use for healing. It was getting to be a nice collection, and he was always at the ready if a healer was needed or called, though Solitaire had mostly sought out those he knew were wounded.
He wanted those of the pack to know he was available to help if it was needed, but he wasn't sure how many of them even knew that he was going for the Witch title, doing what he could to become the pack's healer. Perhaps if Eden knew what he was doing in more detail, then the others might be informed of it too? That would be a good thing, Solitaire thinks. Plus, if there were other tasks, or if the tasks had changed from healing one of the pack -- though he had helped Frostbite, even if it was for different wounding -- then he could start on those tasks. It was always possible that because he had only just joined those tasks weren't enough for him to gain a title...
Solitaire was undoubtedly concerned that what he did wasn't enough, that he would have to go far above and beyond what the members who had been there would. Yet he would still do it if he had to, because he was serious about being a real part of this pack, someone that was worth keeping around. He just hoped that Eden could see that he was trying, and trying hard. So he called out, trying to feel more confident about the entire situation as he did so. It was for Eden that he asked, that the alpha would come and speak to him of healing tasks that would get him closer to being Witch.
