The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.

All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.

Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

As she spoke, his body froze aside from his auds which flickered in her direction. He turned – slowly – to face her, a look of fear and confusion painted upon his faηade. But then, finally, his nares flared and he realized that he was lethally close to Abendrot’s boundary. The reaction was immediate, his pelt quivering as he trembled before her. I… I didn’t realize that I was so close to intruding… I’m sorry… It was pathetic, really, that he had no idea where he currently stood, speaking to his recent past. There was no way that he was a regular in Blossom Forest – few would dare travel so close to Abendrot’s borders, be it on purpose or accident. They all seemed to give the pack a rather large margin… so then where was this brute from if not here? As she considered his existence, her lids narrowed as her azures watch his eyes trace her form… her broken, swollen, injured form. The brute lowered his gaze, his voice quiet and unsure. Are you okay?

Halina scoffed at his question, her hackles raising at the thought of Draven but then swiftly lowered once more. “If you think I look bad you would cringe if you looked upon the one who did this to me. He makes me look quite pretty.” She flashed him a smile… one of sharpened pearls… and though she would normally have looked rather attractive when grinning, in her current state it was rather terrifying. Her curled lips crinkled her cheeks, folding the scars on either side of her muzzle into paired lightning bolts that spoke to her lethality. She stepped one step closer, her limbs brushing upon the interior of the boundary line, her nails passing over. A single brow raised, questioning him once again. “But that is quite enough about me, do share some information about you instead. Seeing as you did not actually intrude, I will ask nicely. Who are you, and what are you doing by Abendrot’s packlands? ” She cocked her head, her blue orbs tracing his form, studying him before she drawled out a few more words, drenched in sarcasm. “Please do tell.” It was not a request. It was a demand.
