Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Having an imprint was.. strange. Not in a bad way of course, but feeling things in small ways that did not belong to his mind or body was odd to him. Sabriel knew that most considered their imprint was half their soul or the whole thing or whatnot.. but he doesn't know exactly what that meant for him. He was still himself, still knew where his heart belonged, was still a gypsy. Now he could see color, which was such a great thing to have after all this time living without it. It had been uncomfortable when others explained things by color and he couldn't exactly figure that out; but he had gotten along by understanding what colors came in what shades, for the most part. Sure, it didn't always work out, but it was mostly enough.

Now he could see everything in color, though he felt that perhaps it made him need to re-learn the spectrum from how everyone else saw it. Maybe Kellin would be able to help him out with that, once he found where his little brother went off to. Not that Sabriel was too worried, since he was sure Kellin could take care of himself by now. Perhaps not with brute force, but the younger male was a sly, speedy critter and could probablt slip out of a sticky situation if he found himself in one. Plus, they had dealt with things like that before on their wanderings. Kellin would return when ready, or take Sabriel's advice and join a pack. That would be good for his brother, he thinks. To settle down a little and be near family still had.

Sabriel knew there couldn't be much left of the gypsies by now. There were no groups like it had once been before, little scent-wise to suggest any of those of old were still around. Some seemed faded, like the last of them might have just decided to go finally. Sabriel had to admit that it saddened him to know they had disbanded, but he hadn't helped in keeping them together. He should have been here. He should have done a lot of things, to be honest. Stayed in Moladion, for one. But at least he knew he would be tethered here now, because of Anemone. Which made him sad all the more, when he thought of Micteca, to whom his heart still belonged. He wanted to knew if she was okay... but he couldn't force himself to go and find out. At least not yet.
