Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

now that i am coming down; won't you be my solid ground?

Sway took the time to think about how good it would be to have a stable home and be a part of something. She didn't need to be a big part or any such thing, but it was still nice to think she could try, that she could do some good. She wouldn't mind if she did not get the rank to which these tasks stemmed from, because it was still a reason to get out and do something, to explore Moladion a little more and meet new wolves. That would be enough all on it's own, yet she liked the fact that she would be able to help her cousin get some information wanted. To know a little more of the packs that had once been allies and if they might once more be good candidates to be so again. New rulership changed things so it had to be looked into, but Sway was ever hopeful for new friends.

She was excited to see someone closing in after the response sound, and Sway was cheerful at the tone that she'd heard. It sounded pretty welcoming to her, and that was a good sign. He looked like a happy fellow, too, and Sway smiled right back at him. Tristan. And he was asking how he could help her. But before she was able to reply back to him, someone else had come along! Cersei, the female had said. Sway beamed at both of them. "Thank you. I'm Sway of Spirane, and I was wondering if I could learn a little bit about your pack. What it stands for and the type of wolves that live here. Glorall used to be an ally, and I think it would be wonderful if it was so again." It was a lot said, but she was pretty happy to meet not one, but two members of Glorall.

They were both friendly and set off no inner alarms for her, and for this Sway was grateful. Both had been friendly upon greeting as well, which made her form part of an opinion about Glorall already; she liked these two, and if they were a show of what those of Glorall might be like, then she would be glad to tell Daenerys of them, and that she thought they would be good allies to have. If her cousin decided that was the course to take. Though if this was only a look into how nice those who lived here were, then Sway was all for the idea. She was already glad that she had come here for this task visit already, even if it was no more than meeting some nice wolves. That was more than fine with her, if so.
