As time passed quickly she had begun to worry increasingly about Raven and her fate. Her consul had not come back to Iromar in a long time and she wondered.... was she okay? Had something or someone prevented her from returning? At times Aithne would grow suddenly furious for she imagined another taking advantage of Raven as they had once tried with her. She would kill them - rip them to shreds if they touched the girl. Then the unthinkable had happened. Andras had returned to them covered in the blood of another and he had been so far gone that it had only been a few hours of life left in him. A miserable ending to a great life, she thought, for he had become a wraith of himself. It had torn something inside of her to take his neck within her jaws and to press the life out of him yet there had been a sort of peace to it, a mercy killing, and he had asked her to do it. Asked to be reunited with his beloved.
But Raven had not been there. Raven deserved to know what had happened and Aithne feared that the girl might hate her for her participation in the death of Andras. Even if he had been on the verge of death anyways. Yet that would not stop her as she sets out of Iromar with a determined gait, keeping her emerald eyes open for any sign of the girl and heading up around the edges of Spirane then past the borders of Taviora until she curves around to the borderlands of Asteraia. The smells here are not familiar and she takes her time moving along the border to scent them all out and remember them. Just in case, you know, one of them decided to attack one of hers.
Only when she feels that she has scoped out as much information as she can without meeting anyone does she raise her muzzle and sends out a call for the alpha of the lands, deep and resonating across the plains country before she stares into the land with a somber look. She did not smell Raven here but it had been raining recently and the scent could have been washed out. Besides it had been too long since Raven had been missing - she could be anywhere! The only way to find out if she was here was to ask.
