Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

EVERLAST - FIVE - NO ANYTHING

When had her life ever been anything other than a cruel game of jest? Since the moment she had been born a female rather than another son she had been discarded, fed only because she had been born but for no other reason. There had never been any love in her famly, only a constant neglect and sidelong glances that demanded she stay quiet and she stay out of the way. Of all of them her father had been the most cold-hearted, a particular sort of bastard who made it known often with his snide remarks at how well his sons were doing in their training, how strong they were, how they would offer something to this world. Then those jade eyes of his would pin her where she was until her belly pressed to the ground and he would walk to her, each step seeming like the stomp of a dinosaur upon the earth. BOOM, BOOM, BOOM. Lower she would go until he stood over her and she would roll over, a slow movement so that he could see her throat. Sometimes he even acted like he wanted to kill her but those were normally days when she had done something to draw his ire.

Brothers and mother and father... they were nothing. They had let her live only by the grace of her blood and when she had been cornered in the woods over a year ago by a pack of males, used to their pleasure, and come home knocked up they had blamed it on her. Everlast had only ever tried to make them happy. She had been quiet and submissive even when she wanted to fight back. She had been blind and innocent even when something inside of her told her it wouldn't work.

And it hadn't.

Then she had been turned away from them altogether and she couldn't help but notice the pleased smile on her father's face when he chased her out with her belly bulging. She had walked and walked and cried the first night. Then she had come here to this very forest and laid down beneath a tree as her belly gave way to new life. She hadn't loved them. She could never claim to have loved those children btu she had tried to look out for them - unfortunately within a day that had ended. Seline had seen to that, crushing their little lives between her beautiful jaws and crushing the last bit of hope from Everlast.

Except now she had it back. Seline and her children had left her at their den, a proverbial prisoner, held in place by her sheer fear of the lovely female and her brood. It had been days since they had left though and as time passed without their company her heart beat a little bit faster. As she watched the sun begin to set upon another day alone she realized something: THIS WAS HER CHANCE. Abruptly she bolts upright, swaying at her swiftness and unused muscles, and she glances around in a half-panic, as if thinking of escaping would summon her captors. But they didn't appear and so she jolts forward, her body uneven for a moment until she is at a flat out run.

Everlast runs as if a demon is chasing her, ears flat on her skull and pounding the earth, twisting between trees and darting across meadows. What if they were behind her? How close were they? What if she waited too long and Seline was on her trail now? She would kill Everlast. She is so blind in her panic that she does not note her surroundings, only moving on instinct, and as she lunges past a tree that suddenly appeared she is shocked to find two wolves... but not shocked enough to stop in time, barreling straight for the black female.

She tries to slow her pace but no matter what, unless Tick Tock can leap back or into Fritjof Everlast will likely slam right into her side with a yip of fear. If she does then Everlast will go down into an inelegant heap, quickly straining to arise with her tail tucked between her legs and the whites of her eyes showing. "I'm sorry!" She exclaims, over and over.
(If Tick Tock moves just assume that Everlast tripped and fell anyways)
