Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

In the instant he was met with raised hackles and equally bared fangs, Tithe’s temper rose. He had no idea what had been going on between the two wolves before he had arrived. Under most circumstances he would have waited to gauge the situation and reacted accordingly. In his mind the wounds of his present past were too vivid and his friend too dear to allow anyone to use their fangs on her.

”Me? Why should I appologize?” Offended that this stranger demanded him to apologize for his rescue he took a step forward, vocal cords continuing to issue their harsh challenges. ”You were the one attacking her!”

While she had landed in the cold dirt Taika was already rushing to get back to her paws. Of course she recognized her life-long friend and knew for a fact he would not hesitate to try to rip her new-found friend to shreds if he thought he needed to. Their real snarls and growls concerned because she understood them to be needless. To get his attention in the only way she knew how the petite female launched herself at the big armor colored knight and attached herself to his ear.

”He wasn’t attacking me.” She explained, her mouth full of Tithe’s soft ear, her weight pulling him down and distracting him from posturing at Edrick. ”He was protecting his faerie friends!”

Tithe blinked and relaxed enough to convince Taika to let go of his ear. Hesitantly he sheathed his fangs. A confused grumbling growl rumbled in his throat and he sat down hard on the ground. Dark eyes looked between the two playmates, narrowing suspiciously at the tan male.

”Faeries.” He growled. Years with Taika gave him and understanding of the make-believe world she created around herself. As he studied Edrick, he wondered if this male played along with her or truly believed in the shining games she played.

”Yes!” She explained happily. The game had stopped and she was brought back to reality. Her spirit and humor still existed and was evident on the always present smile on her face. Now was a time for her intelligence and understanding of the world around her to shine through. Trotting over, she touched her nose Edrick’s shoulder, dancing eyes still shining at him, hoping to calm him down and create a peace between the two men.

”This is Tithe, he has been my friend since being a puppy.” Sitting beside Edrick, she looked over at the grey. ”Tithe, this is the Faerie...Prince.” She used the term with a sly smile on her face, smirking at Edrick. ”We were trying to establish if he were king, or if the crown belonged to me as queen.” Her head tilted at the tan. ”I don’t actually know his name…

Tithe continued to stare Edrick down and study him intently. As much as his initial impression of attacker still unnerved him, he could not help but respect the fact the other male had jumped to be protective while was still willing to play. He grudgingly admitted to himself the Edrick’s actions were more than commendable, whereas his had been foolish and impulsive. He would never verbally admit it.

”And who are you, Faerie Prince?”
