sing the song with the heart of the people
It had only been a handful of days since Eden had brought her here, Fenrir with her. She would never be parted from her mate again and he seemed wholly agreeable to such a thing, sticking by her despite her having been stolen. The sea side pack was chilly for winter rolled off the ocean in a fury, biting and bitter. She had found herself a cozy den that faced inland so that the briny air would not seep into her dreams and Eden had not bothered her since her arrival. It did not bother her to be here but she was disappointed to find that her brother had gone and without telling her. She did not find Ravenna either or even her son, Grayson, and Fenrir had noted how disappointed she had been by that. He was an adult now and she was assured that Ravenna would be close by him for the girl had seemed to be attached to him.
Fenrir had left to find her some food and with her ever increasing appetite had come a pudge in her stomach, a slight rounding that every day began to bulge more and more. She had been surprised to realize she was pregnant for it had crept up on her slowly, not nearly as quick as her last litter two years ago. Natu was sure that she housed only one, if not two, of their children within her womb. It would not be as big of a brood and perhaps that was for the best, yet she was elated by the possibility of those tiny creatures to care for. She loved her children fiercely but they were independent of her now, Ankh being the only one that seemed to crave attention more than the others, and Fenrir had seemed happy about it. Well, except being stuck here, but she had a notion that perhaps Diveen was not the place she was meant to be. Maybe it was here, in place of her brother.
The pale sunlight gleams against her pristine alabaster fur as she moves to the beach, settling herself at the spot where the grass began to filter into the sand. Icy blue eyes move to catch on a first that is black and white, a young male, and she offers him a smile even as she stands to move closer down the beach to him.
"Hello," she says in her dulcet tones, tail waving slowly in a friendly demeanor.
"I have seen you around a few times but I have not had a chance to meet you. I am Natu." She dips her head cordially before looking at him to await his name. Eden had brought this spider into his midst and she would see what flies he had managed to snare, but she would also find in them allies, hopefully.
