Touch. It was not something she was vehemently against like her counterpart. At such a young age she was taught that touch was bad. The touches she received as a pup were not warm nor embracing. The touches she received were harsh nips and sharp nails sliced against her pelt. When she sought comfort at such a tender age she was roughly pushed away and ignored. It was a difficult concept to accept but she adapted and eventually was used to such treatment until they chased her away. Now she was older and old habits were difficult to break. Unlike Tobias she was actually willing to try to be more accepting of what was typical custom socialization. Touch was one of those things and it would take a lot of time until she was used to such things. It was necessary to touch Nakato, to protect her from her imprint and the others within her land, Nakato was one of them now and she would never be harmed.
It did bother her to have the bob-tailed wolf walk the grounds with her. If anything it was actually rather comforting. The sad part was her pace was a bit slower. She was holding pups and it wouldn’t be long before she wouldn’t want to move again. Her sides were bulging and her need for food only intensified. Half torn ear twitched back and forth for a moment as she continued to lead the girl deeper into the flat lands, but she would realize it wasn’t all flat. There were rolling hills and in the distance it was noticeable there were actually some sparse woods, not as magnificent as Taviroa’s tall timbers, but just enough for more prey to hide and thrive. Ebony skull would turn as she listened intently to the girl speak. She knew everything there was to know about killing, but healing, she knew nothing about it. Her face would remain passive not catching onto Nakatos’ humor, but she would go still when she inquired about her imprint. As always her cold lyrics would slip out gently, but there was a firm undeniable warning that Nakato needed to be aware of.
“He is not my mate. His mate is the wolf that is white with red along her back. Tobias is my imprint. He is extremely volatile, his temperament unstable, he is a wolf that responds better to motions and instincts, not words. One minute he is apathetic and then the next completely docile. Sometimes he is curious, but he has a quick temper. Be careful around him Nakato.”
Sapphire eyes would hold Nakatos’ gaze for a moment as the heavy silence surrounded them. Tick Tock was quite aware of her imprint. She could feel his moods when they were close to one another and it was surprising, even to her, how often she could actually allow his emotions to affect her. She does not want anything to happen to Nakato and she was sure nothing would, but it was best to play it safe sometimes. She would continue her slow pace as they continued to walk around a land that most found poorly. Her mind would return to the topic at hand as she chewed on what she had said earlier. Druid…she didn’t understand that. As for spirits she didn’t get that either about them being in the sky and earth. It was the other phrase that had caught her attention and had…touched her. Puzzled she would tilt her head as she slipped her questions softly.
“You think I am pleasant company? Spirits of the earth and sky to help you…what does that all mean?”
