Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

I Want a Flood; I Want an Ocean, to Wash my Confusion Clean

_________________________________________________________________________

The snow white brute often wondered what he was doing in life. He went through his days without really feeling anything, waking up each morning with no emotions, going out of his den to do whatever his body needed. Hunting, eating, sleeping. That was it. He had no one to talk to, no one to call a friend. He was brought to Abendrot by his mother Verity, and the rest of his siblings. There had been a lot of them at first, him and his siblings, but he never saw any of them anymore. He didn’t even see his mother. From what he had understood, Verity had been a well-known wolf in Abendrot, respected by even Kershov. And when Aimery finally met the alpha at the pack meeting he saw how good of a feat that was that she was on Kershov’s good side. Aimery knew that he needed to make sure not to do anything to get himself on the king’s bad side.

The white brujo needed something to make his life more exciting, to give his life some meaning. He just didn’t know what to do to give his some life something. As he woke one morning and pushed through his den, shaking out his pelt to help wake himself up more, he stretched his limbs out with a sigh. Normally he stayed within Abendrot’s borders, but today he felt like going out. Maybe a change of scenery would have some impact on his life, though he honestly doubted it. His paws slowly led him through the trees, not paying attention to where he was taking himself. Before he knew it he was facing the bottom of the mountains. His green orbs looked up at the high cliffs, and for once he acted on a whim and decided to go up.

Aimery watched his paw steps carefully, knowing that one wrong move could mean his death. He went from ledge to ledge, pushing off with his hind limbs to get himself higher and higher. He began to pant with the exertion, his tongue hanging from his mouth as he let more oxygen into his lungs. He finally reached a spot that was not so rocky, an area that had more area to stand and move about. The brute decided to take a break, to catch his breath. And that’s when he noticed the other lupine that was up there with him. And then he saw the female take a step towards the edge, and another, now her paw was hanging over the side, as if she was going to just walk off. His instincts kicked in and he shot forward, yelling to catch her attention, ”Hey!” Even though he was not quite a full adult yet, he was still bigger than her, and his teeth grabbing her scruff and forcing her back away from the edge. ”What are you doing? You’re going to get hurt!” His green orbs were wide, concerned, wondering why she had almost walked over the side.
