Kairos had undergone a massive transformation since she had last seen her brother. Gone were her chubby, puppyish legs and short, sharp features, and in their place stood a woman transformed. Her neck and back fur was long and flowing, like a mantle which she wore with the utmost grace and poise, and her muzzle was pointed and dainty. Her black eyes with their swirls of navy danced wildly, reflecting the both the intelligence and the touch of madness within her soul, and her muscles rippled and danced as she moved. Elijah's limber elasticity and Stella's dark charm and combined to form something spectacular in their daughter.
Besides the exquisite figure she cut, however, Kairos had also begun to alter inside of herself. She was still foolhardy and domineering as ever, and yet she had begun to pick up on interpersonal skills. A more nurturing facet had made itself known upon her meeting with Taika, as well as a darkly mischievous sense of humour which she indulged whenever the mood. More surprising than even these strange occurrences, however, was the female's anti-ambition. Having been a goddess once, Kairos lacked the wolf's natural desire to better itself, for how much greater could a creature be than an overlord? She had transcended the desire to please, and so wanted neither rank nor mate. She was defined by her past life, and that was enough.
Just because she was without drive, did not mean she was without purpose though. No, the rather magnificent seductress had an important, self-granted mission to carry out. All through her short life, she had witnessed her creation's lack of regard for the beings who had made them, and their complete derision of the rules tailored to govern them. In due time, she would set in motion a plan to bring them back to their roots and her all-encompassing bosom.
A small smile lit up her face as she sat in the cavern, waiting with the patience of a hunter. She had picked this place for its secluded aura and relative lack of dwellers, and she only hoped Zagan would approve of her choice when he arrived. Her heart skipped a beat at the sound of his name in her mind, but she made no outward show of her affections. It would not do to be swooning when Illias stumbled into her lair. Zagan had promised to bring him, promised to aid her in her quest to weed out the weakling. It seemed her new and nurturing spirit did not extend to her defective litter-mate, and the desire to wipe him from the face of the earth was as strong as ever in her chest. She narrowed her glowing eyes against the darkness, hoping her raven love would find her scent-markers without much fuss.
