Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

take me back to days long past

Weary, creamy paws carry a slender frame silently through the Woods that border her home to the South East. It hadn't even been a whole year since she had last been beneath the trees of Taviora, but in truth it felt like an entire lifetime. So much had come to happen in that short breath of time, and Reian was reluctant each and every morning to keep her dark violet eyes open when she awoke. She had done her very best to remain strong through out the years of her life, always making sure her Father was alright and still breathing. But even before he had left Taviora - with his eldest at his heels, for she couldn't bare the thought of him never coming back and her never knowing why - she knew something was wrong. He had wanted to speak to Coszcotl, but he had never sought him out again after Amoxtli had become the Guardian of the Forest. By watching him, Reian thought that perhaps Sen simply wanted to fade away, just as her Mother had and her siblings in their own suit.

She, however, had no intention on fading away. She just had to be with her Father in those particular moments, and she had been with him until the very end. There was nothing dramatic about his passing, either. In the middle of the night, when they had both been resting beneath the wide open expanse of the stars; it had been mid summer at the time and quite warm where they were and where he slipped into another world. Her almost black violet eyes had opened that next morning, and when she tried to rouse her Father, his own dull irises never opened. She waited the first ten minutes silently, waiting and watching his chest. Not once did it rise or fall, and as the feeling sunk into her very bones, Reian was at a momentary loss of what to do. A rather large part of her wanted to simply lie down and go as he had, to fade off into another realm never again to walk this earth. But the very core of who she was refused and rebelled, and though she would express her love for him as well as she could she knew she would have to go on.

After she managed to dig a grave suited for him, she had moved his still warm body to the depth of the hole before laying various flowers all across his pale, creamy frame. There had been dark violet flowers for his eyes and Roamin's; pale lilac flowers for Hush's. There were creamy white flowers and pale golden flowers amidst a plethora of deep russet flowers that littered the ground around her own paws as well. They were all for her family, each and every one of them, those still breathing and those already buried beneath the earth. When it was she finally made it back to Taviora- because that's where she needed to go- she would let all her family know to add Sen along side his son in their dearly beloved Departed. It was how she was now back in that familiar Wood that lay so very close to home, and yet her still dainty creamy paws did not yet bring her there. Instead she hung back, her pace slowing at last for while the immense cloud of sadness clung to her very being like a suffocating fog, there was still one thing that could come through.

It was at first a tingling sensation, and then with a flood of warmth she knew what it had to be. Frantic and wild dark violet eyes search for him in the gentle light of the Autumn afternoon, weary and eager for every crunch of leaf and snap of twig. Her chest heaves with an unfamiliar nervousness, for Reian knew well that it wouldn't even take a simple look at her for him to know just how she felt. The lore of imprints was a common thing spoken amongst wolves of Moladion, and her home and her blood were here; her very soul was here. Time seemed far too agonizing as the seconds slowly rolled on by, and the long legged forest wolf hoped not to collapse as she was right on the spot when she could finally see him. It had been too long since a beloved face was in her grasp, and never again would she let any- especially him, slip from her grasp.
