It's so frustrating when no one else sees everything you see.
So for now it is just an illusion, confusion,
Unless you're someone who believes

My billowing white tail swished out behind me as I skirted from tree to tree, scent after scent keeping me captivated and completely oblivious to the dark colored wolf approaching her until she was almost upon me. I whirled around, a tangle of limbs still slightly uncoordinated. I might be fully grown now, but I hardly feel used to my body. It feels like simply days ago I was small enough to play by jumping up to grab my mother’s tail like it was a bird. Something tells me I wouldn’t quite fit anymore.
But this new girl, she looks like fun! Her tail is wagging and she bowed like royalty before me! Maybe today I am royalty, the princess of a far-away land that no one here knows about!
Taika. She wants to play. They could be friends!!
My tail wags vigorously. What a wondrous new land! Maybe everyone here wants to play just as much as I do!
“I love to play!” My voice is light, still almost childish in nature, despite me being fully grown. My mother used to scold me for it, asking me to talk like a lady. Well, I am a lady and this is how I talk! “Have you ever flown like a bird? Isn’t it wonderful!”
I jump in place slightly at the end of my sentence, unable to contain my excitement. I am practically shaking with anticipation. Someone to play with! No one has ever wanted to play with me before! No, wait. I am actually shaking with anticipation! Maybe I am a leaf, sitting on a tree. It’s summer, so there are lots of leaves. I could blend in...Oh, right I was talking to someone.
I bring my attention back to Taika.
“What are the best games for this forest? I’ve never been here before and there are so many new smells! It’s so wonderful! Does everyone here want to play?” I barely pause to breathe between sentences, too excited to stop and think between them.
I know nothing of these lands, I might as well ask.
