Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

IT'S TRUE, WE'RE ALL A LITTLE MAD;;

It's true... We're all a little mad...

Summer had come, Jaidah felt the season like a knife up her spine. Madness had taken her after the loss to Tobias, but she was coming back to herself. Thoughts circulated in horrendous fashion, her eye moving along the beachfront as she stood at the border. How long did they expect her to allow them to hunt for her? Of course she knew, but it was only after weeks of being searched for that she began to tire of the hiding game. Now, she came to the ocean, jade eye searching along the sands to find someone from this pack. After a respectful pause, she spots the white of a wolf by the sea.

With little reservation, Jaidah crosses into oceanfront property. Coming up behind the wolf, she huffs, a snort escaping. "I thought this place was going to be more interesting. But, I find the residents are as bored as I am with the beach." Taking her seat, unperturbed by any reaction the wolf might have at her sudden appearance, her paws naturally silenced against the sands. Her white pelt stuck out against the tan of sand, as did the wolf before her. No doubt he would know her, it was difficult to get anywhere without recognition. Her scars made identity hard to conceal. Staring at the wolf with her singular jade orb, the half eared female smirked.

Jaidah had wondered what the ocean pack was like. Some figured them for playful, but the once queen knew how deceiving first glances could be. She has lost body parts in pursuit of a throne, but her face lied for her, kept others thinking she was a weak creature to be hunted. There was no weakness in her, though she has given her aspirations a break for now to gather her wits and recover from her fight with Tobias. It would be long now, and she could begin to build again. For now, she needed a place to call home, provided the owner could understand she would be her own and was not one to listen to orders. This wolf may be able to help negotiate a home for her, but she would get to know him first.
