Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

~I hope you smile when you look down on me~

Ashen lids fluttered closed as the fea let herself dream in the embrace of her lover’s arms. She took every movement and moment to embrace her mottled knight, feeling their individual hairs mingle together as they pressed closer together. They were as close as two could be without becoming one, though she couldn’t deny the underlying want and desire to be with Kalgalath. She wanted to be his forever, one and only love. She wanted to be the polituce to his wounds and the shoulder he could lean on when he needed someone to lean on. But the ashen lady had to pull herself back to the reality of where they were now, and she knew with each smile she saw on her mottled knights maw that dream was one step closer to reality, because even with space and time between them their feelings for each other hadn’t diminished, but had rather grown in spite of it. And as the pair sat in silence comfortably, it was a testament to their connection. They did not need words to fill the air with useless sounds, but rather the company of each other to fill their hearts with joy.

As Sebring crawled to the edge of the cliffs she felt the gaze of Kalgalath on her back, her words fluttering on the wind back to his auds. Her muscles contracted with effort to pull her crown back over the edge as she looked back to Kalgalath… His head was tilted slightly with a crooked smile lifting his kissers. Sebring smiled back and she slinked backwards back into the warm embrace of her King. Not really, Sebring. Up here the world looks so little and small, time passing by slowly, if you peer long enough it makes you feel like a God. The other vargs look like insignificant ants from here and it gives you a sense of inconceivable power. But to me, being upon my throne in front of my pack is something completely different. Yes, I sit above them, but I am still among them and I am still one of them. My raised seat merely allows me to see more and allows all to see me, not just the vargs closest to me. Being their leader is an honor, indeed, and it comes with power and respect, but it is also a position of responsibility and servitude. Without my pack, there would be no need for the position. Just as they need me, I need them. Sebring’s golden pools glittered like an enamored pup, listening to tales of the elders. Not that she would have known... She had never known what pack life was like. She had only known abandonment until Kalgalath had saved her from death and herself—both going hand in hand. She felt like even with such a concise explanation her mottled King had taken years to understand and undertake the responsibility of protector, ruler and friend all together. Sebring nuzzled her grayish crown against Kalgalath, his lids closed as she let her nares inhale Kalgalath’s scent. The intoxicating smell of testosterone mixed with earthly scents and Kalgalath’s own distinct fragrances, left Sebring on cloud nine, but Kalgalath’s gentle lyrics pulled her back into his arms.

So what have you been doing for all of this time? Have you met anyone else within the pack? Sebring opened her eyes to meet her lover’s icy blue pools and gentle smile. Her lips remained lifted in a small smile as she spoke, Well, this is the first time I’ve left Aurora since we first met. I spent most of my time wandering around the terra exploring and trying to dust off what little hunting skills I had… It was a rough start. I spent a lot of my time picking off of old carcasses around the border and when I was lucky enough to catch a squirrel or mole I usually rationed it. But prey is still fairly active right now so I was lucky to have access to plentiful prey. She laughed to herself remembering all of her blundering falls and face plants when she had first started hunting again. I spent most of time just watching the prey and their habits so I might lessen the amount of time I spent with my nose buried in the dirt. She winked playfully at Kalgalath, hoping he would share in her laughter. It hadn’t been until now that she could laugh at her mistakes, because at the time it had been very painful and still could be if she wasn’t careful. I have taken time to meet with pack members and even an ally from Saw Tooth! I had the pleasure of meeting three femmes—Hellene and her daughter Khaleesi, and a fellow healer to-be Daenerys, from Saw Tooth. Hellene was very knowledgeable and very kind to teach us. And her daughter Khaleesi was a sweetheart… I do hope to see them again soon! And Daenerys was also very sweet, I would have the mind to visit her once I’m better at finding my way around. The only other pack member I’ve met would be Tarly. Adorable little thing, but terrified… A concerned look crossed over her features remembering how fearful the little bruteling had been when they had run into each other, literally.

Sebring looked back to Kalgalath, hoping he might offer some form of reconciliation or information about the babe. Her golden pools sank back to the ground remembering how she felt when she had been a pup. Tears formed in the corners of her eyes, threatening to spill out and down her cheeks. Kalgalath, why does pain have to come to the most innocent of the world..? Her voice cracked with emotion as the tears fell to the rocky surface, dripping from the corners of her jaw. Sebring buried her face into Kalgalath’s wintery pelt trying to push away the memory of her own puphood. Everything she fought to conceal was fighting back to the surface threatening to break the crystal façade she had managed to build up around the black lagoon of her mind. Please, don’t let him hurt me… Don’t let anyone hurt him Kalgalath… Please. I don’t want anyone to go through that kind of pain… p-pl-please… She whimpered, her heart bleeding out for the pup, for the youth she never had and for all the heartache she had endured. She curled into her mottled knight trying to escape the cold, harsh air of reality biting at her back. She could feel each heart beat, each breath being choked by the memory of her father. Don’t let him hurt me Kalgalath… please don’t let him…

"They’re only baby scars," She whispers.
